Economic Fears Give Obama Clear Lead Over McCain in Poll
Turmoil in the financial industry and growing pessimism about the economy have altered the shape of the presidential race, giving Democratic nominee Barack Obama the first clear lead of the general-election campaign over Republican John McCain, according to the latest Washington Post-ABC News national poll.
More voters trust Obama to deal with the economy, and he currently has a big edge as the candidate who is more in tune with the economic problems Americans now face. He also has a double-digit advantage on handling the current problems on Wall Street, and as a result, there has been a rise in his overall support. The poll found that, among likely voters, Obama now leads McCain by 52 percent to 43 percent. Two weeks ago, in the days immediately following the Republican National Convention, the race was essentially even, with McCain at 49 percent and Obama at 47 percent.

Why do people still look at these meaningless polls, I wish people would get it through their thick skulls, it’s the Electorial College that matters, not the likely voters polls. We keep hearing about these likely voters every 4 years, but they never show up. The only polls that matter are the one in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Nevada. Who ever wins 3 out of 5 of those states wins. John Kerry was supposed to trounce Bush in likely voters but it never happened, the youth never showed up.

This in turn led to a gold seizure after the current dollar was established, in order to make the dollar the ONLY U.S. currency. Which was pretty much financial rape.
1914-1919 the money supply generated by the federal reserve doubled, making the economy stable and instilling faith in the people of this country…1n 1920 the federal reserve called back the loans from the banks with interest, putting nearly 600 independent banks and institutions out of business, and created an economic disaster…
from 1921 to 1929 the federal reserve increased the nations money supply by 62%, giving out extensive loans to major banks, and introduced the margin loan…setting us up once again. Oct. 24, 1929, all the major bankers started mass calling in their loans, creating another economic crash, this time, collapsed over 16,000 banks, and alot of the smaller banks were able to buy these major banks and whole corporations for what they say was pennies on the dollar…

after this, instead of increasing the money supply again, the federal reserve made the nations money supply smaller….and then? Our first recession, our first great depression.
This is when the gold seizure of 1933 occurred. Their excuse was an attempt to make the american economy better.
People need to understand that the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with the Government, its NOT a federal establishment, its a PRIVATE corporation, and they are RUNNING this country…not any president…presidents just a face.

McCAin just announced he is canceling debate on Friday. According to the Obama camp, Obama phoned him with the idea for both to haul campaigns to concentrate on economic woes and both he and McCain agreed to make a joint statement. McCain jumped to the media to take credit for idea and look selfless minutes after the phone call.
