Kanye what are you doing? Wow that Kanye Performance was horrible…new song, crowd wasnt feeling, autotune… he should’ve done atleast one song from Graduation. T.I. did his thing and it lil wayne seemed to be everywhere. What was up with Slipnot presenting the best hip hop video award? smh. I dont even know what to say about the host, Russell Brandt, I rather someone stab me in the eye with a pencil than to listen or watch him host. Overall, the VMAs was a disappointment. – Ali

Show was weak…
Started weak Russel Brand (not so funny) and MTV’s corporate push for Britney’s success.
How does Britney even deserve awards at this point?
Rihanna performance was good. I thought Weezy performed un inspired. Pink always puts on a decent show. And Kanye was decent nothing special.
Overall the VMA’s are a way of showcasing the talent MTV has a financial interest in. Industry has changed a lot and the awards shows hurt because of it.

The VMA last year was wack as hell too funny thing about it was i thought that 50 and kanye competition was gonna make it better but the shit was still wack then a mofo.
