Kanye’s Love Lockdown Goes #1 On ITunes, & He Has A Message For 50
I just woke up from a quick studio nap… I’ve been workin’ on 808s and Heartbreak about 16 hrs a day and Superman passed out for a little bit… I’m in hawaii but I’m still on NY time so I wake up mad early, do some business, blog, jog for an hour, play ball, eat and then hit the stu by noon. While approving the final cut for the Love Lockdown vid, I marvel at the fact that it was written less than 3 weeks ago. I’m very excited about the everything… I guarantee this will be 50’s favorite album of mine. This will be gangster’s album of the year.

I think that lilwayne is one of the best rappers in the game right now. he is one of the best but there are alot of different rappers that are just as good or even better. I think that eminem and lil wayne should get on a track to gather. Two different sides of rap coming to gather.

for those of you that say 50 might come with another get rich or die trying…i serious doubt that. 50 cant recreate what he did on that album no lie it was dope his best work but “In the club” did that to him just like “country grammer” put nelly on the map when he came out. They both just had a good ass first album with fire singles.”I get money” was a big ass song in 07 the shit was tight but that wasnt enough to generate all the buzz he had when he first dropped.
Pretty much his time has come and gone man he really needs to be categorized with Em, Nelly, DMX and ill say jay but Jay still is dope cuz…all those cats had they shine in the early 2000s.
