808s and Heartbreak: Every song includes 808s (I will assume you know what that is) and Heartbreak is the “theme” of the album, if you will. He has recently experienced a lot of heartbreak, (breaking up with Phifer and losing Dr. West) so this is his expression of heartbreak. Come on people, wake up! It’s not that hard.

And while I can live without the auto-tune, I am excited for this new album. Yes, Ye is a singer, not a rapper, but he is taking his career to a different level. Who wants to hear the same ole ish all the time. Do you know what “themes” he was considering before he decided on 808s and Heartbreak? Like I said, if you’re a true Ye fan, you know this. If not, check out his blog. Long story short, it was weak. It was a continuation of College Dropout–>Late Registration–>Graduation. I am very happy that he decided to go a new route. For those of you who aren’t, I am sure you have vert stagnant lives.

Only true Ye fans can appreciate what he is doing with this album. He is not stepping outside of the box, he tore down the box with this one. When you are a true fan, you are excited when your artist tries new things and becomes vulnerable. It excites you as a fan that they are exposing a different side of themselves. Big ups to all the true Ye fans. To the rest of yall…well, you don’t matter.

i really fucks wit kanye and i dont really wanna hear an album full of that. that means theres gonna be alot of singing invovled on this one
and whats the meaning of “808’s and heartbreak” i cant figure that out.
kanye cant kill his career if he wanted to, his differentness is what propels him in this carbon copy hiphop world. but autotune album, not looking forward to this, i wanna see the jayz kanye battle in december. sibling rivalry

since 03 when i first heard kanye he has been my favorite rapper, and though i will still buy the album just cuse i enjoy what he does with music, this auto tune shit is really NOT what i want to hear from him, if he does an album like thati hope he wll stop after that

Auto tune is cool for a verse or whatever, but a whole damn album. Come on Ye you think you Roger Troutman now stop frontin. Oh and whoever’s on here talking bout Kanye aint got no skills cut that shit out. Beats be knocking like crazy. And most of the times lyrics be on point.
