Kanye West’s Next Album, “808’s & Heartbreak,” May Be Heavy On The Auto-Tune

According to OnSmash Kanye’s new album will be entitled, “808’s & Heartbreak,” and is set to drop December 16th. Onsmash goes on to say, “He Will Be Using The Auto-Tune Throughout Most The Album If Not All Of The Album.” I was hoping he would put the auto-tune away but it looks like he may just be getting started, hopefully this turns out not to be true.

^Are you kidding me?.. Tpain sounds horrible on autoTune..Everytime anything with a AutoTune comes on i want to turn tha shit off..But maybe just maybe it isnt the Artist that welcomes this, it’s really the Radio/Labels which somehow think they know what we want to hear, when in reality.. no one listens to the radio anyway…Outside of the fact of hearing Podcasts..

Only true Ye fans can appreciate what he is doing with this album. He is not stepping outside of the box, he tore down the box with this one. When you are a true fan, you are excited when your artist tries new things and becomes vulnerable. It excites you as a fan that they are exposing a different side of themselves. Big ups to all the true Ye fans. To the rest of yall…well, you don’t matter.

808s and Heartbreak: Every song includes 808s (I will assume you know what that is) and Heartbreak is the “theme” of the album, if you will. He has recently experienced a lot of heartbreak, (breaking up with Phifer and losing Dr. West) so this is his expression of heartbreak. Come on people, wake up! It’s not that hard.
And while I can live without the auto-tune, I am excited for this new album. Yes, Ye is a singer, not a rapper, but he is taking his career to a different level. Who wants to hear the same ole ish all the time. Do you know what “themes” he was considering before he decided on 808s and Heartbreak? Like I said, if you’re a true Ye fan, you know this. If not, check out his blog. Long story short, it was weak. It was a continuation of College Dropout–>Late Registration–>Graduation. I am very happy that he decided to go a new route. For those of you who aren’t, I am sure you have vert stagnant lives.
