50 Cent Comments On Jay-Z’s Fame & Fortune
“I’m a big fan of Jay-Z, but outside of the States and hip-hop circles, no one really knew who he was until he married Beyonce.”
The In Da Club rapper has also disputed reports that Jay-Z is worth an estimated $1 billion (GBP540 million), but is adamant he’s not jealous of his fortune.

Any real fan of hip-hop knows Jay-z’s work better than fifty’s. The difference is fifty is only listened to by mainstream and unfortunately thats the case with jay-z now too. But Jay-z’s earliest work is appriciated by both mainstream and underground. In live in Finland, and although i still know fifty’s music well, Jay-Z was international long before anybody threw fifty a bone.

I think what 50 was implying was that his association with Beyonce created a situation where they became a power couple and thus his fame rose, especially on the international scene where Destiny’s Child and Beyonce have a market different from what Jay has or had. Most of his recent business transactions, if you analyze it, all came after the two got together. Please, anyone point out one major power move made before he and Be started talking. You can’t because it’s the truth. He had an international market somewhat but not no Glastonbury headlining market. It’s Just Funny How when 50 says something a little bit disrespecful Ya’ll wanna say something about it, But when Game says Fuck Jay-Z a thousand times and Fuck all your favorite rappers Ya’ll just brush it off like it ain’t nothing. 50 is not gonna change and he never has throughout his career. What’s the difference now!! Oh and by the way, TOS is not as bad as people wanna claim it is, it’s actually one of the roughest albums he’s put out in a while.
I just wish Tony Yayo would stop rappin’, he should just be a hype man(Like DJ Khaled or Fat Man Scoop). Or learn how to produce some records.
…But any way, That doesn’t matter, I guess Game is the next 50 Cent.

I have a question for everybody. Is Jay-Z really that Great??? I Listen to Jay-Z just as much if not more than the next guy, but people are now saying that he’s the Goat. I don’t know about that. If anything I thought he was a little bit overrated. Lyrically he’s nice, but there are countless Jay-Z songs that I’ve listened to and was like,”What The Fuck” is this shit. But I would still give him at least top 4.

Biggie in the mid 90s, Eminem in the late 90s, Nas in the early 00s, and now Weezy in the late 00s
Jaz-O taught Jay his style (early 90s)
Biggie was his mentor (mid 90s)
Eminem murdered him on his own shit (early 00s)
Nas dissed and defeated him (early 00s)

im from the UK and i know for a fact that way, wayyy before jay-z got married to beyonce he was selling out concerts and huge stadiums/arenas while touring the UK and all of Europe. i saw him twice so i shud know how difficult it was to get a pair of tickets to see jay-z outside of the states…oh and jay only just married beyonce! wtf is wit that! mayb if he sed before they became boyfrend/girlfrend then he myt hav had a point but, before they were married??nevaa!
