I agree with #6.

Look at it like this, white america (primary conservative white america) views hip-hop as straight NEGATIVE!. Yea, they might like mainstream hip-hop, during christmas parties, etc.lol.. but for them to affiliate Hip-hop to barack obama is absolutely absurb and hebetudinous!! How do you justify a persons character become he's has some knowledge of hip-hop.

I strongly believe Obama having knowledge about hip-hop will not hurt him in this race, BUT hip-hop trying to support him in rap music, posting video about him, etc. will hender him for the road to success.

I love hip-hop alot and i'm proud that the hip hop nation can show there support, but i think they should fall back alittle until he actually becomes the president of the US. Then we can celebrate.
But black people, Please understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Barack becomes president dont think he's suppose to help black people. We the people of the United States are one. we have major issues with the U.S. and international issues.
He will help us all.

Please don't fall for the distractions, focus on the issues.
Rev. Wright is not in Obama's cabinet...Luda is not in Obama's cabinet.

Niggas will continue to harp on BS to distract from the facts/issues that are really important.

economy, gas/oil, international military movements, healthcare, taxes, urban base initiatives.

dude has support frm evr body he has support frm dixie chicks but doesn't have to ans for country music

BUT I DEF DO CO-SIGN #9 I THINK A LOT OF PPL ARE IGNORANT AND BASE DERE OPINIONS GOOD OR BAD ON WHAT THE MEDIA FEEDS THEM

I agree with 6 and 7.

White America believes everything they hear thats negative about HH and blacks in the Mass Media.

Mass Media causes half the issues and problems we have if America today.

So just like stizzack said the less we talk about it the better chance Obama has to win.

Hip Hop is still slowly being accepted as a part of our everyday culture.

You have Jay-Z who is accepted by many politicians republican and democrat.

Then you have someone like Luda that is a whipping boy of both parties.

Its also one thing if Obama or any other politician supports a song. They can appreciate a song for its artistic value. They are not buying into that music's lifestyle.

But if you openly associate with celebrities that could be doing drugs or anything else illegal -- around you -- not a good look for a politician.

In the end I really think Obama is doing the smart thing and accepting support from the hip hop community.

Its time for a change and hip hop IS NOT TO BLAME for the world's problems. If anything is narrative tale of its problems.
