Everybody wanna talk about how negativity is a problem in the community, ESPECIALLY BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNTITIES. Yet no one wants to do something about it. No one wants to throw race in it, but then again no one wants to talk about why there are not enough BLACK and BROWN people in respectable primetime television shows. We always gotta be somebody’s gangsta, rapper, pimp, pusher, ho, prisoner, killer,…need I go on? Everything is a process. Just cuz you used to be this way doesn’t mean change can’t happen. When you get a family, do you expect to get clowned when you don’t go out every nite to the club, and you’d rather spend time with your kids? Let P do P. He led the gangsta life and was rich before anybody even could fathom a rapper hitting it large like that. He is a forefather of the game, but he can’t change and be positive? Ya’ll givin’ Jay all the “grown man B.I.” props when in all actuality P was gorwing up and giving back without the cameras and media. He has kids who look to him, and I feel that he didn’t want his family to see him dead at 30. Romeo is on an athletic scholoarship at USC for crying out loud, self-supported- w/o daddy’s help!!!!! He hustled, got out (which is the main goal of rappers, right?), and is giving back in a positive way. Who can hate on that? Oh, lazy haters who’d rather see our Brown and Black people destroy ourselves.

Money changes things. Look what happened to BET and VH1. Channels start off one way, put on that one different show, then it becomes what their whole network is about.
