  8. Bluecreme Says:

i like it, i think its hot. Because of this song I cant wait for the album to come out.

  9. Trillavilla Says:

This song sounds like nothing from th south. And I’m from the south. This is why New York suffers. Its not that ya’ll dont have good music. Me personally I think most southern music is trash compared to New York but ya’ll dont show the love to your own talent. Instead of talkin about how he sounds like he from the south and shit start supporting the man. Lift him up. Dont bring him down. Hi Hater is the biggest song NY has out this year so far. You gotta support that. Its not like he doin some Soulja Boy bullshit or nuthin.

  10. BX 4 Life! Says:

    Co sign #9

Man look… Maino is in a position to be New York’s next big thing. As time goes his music can and I’m sure will get better. But what the nigga is doin for Brooklyn and the whole city is bananas. See we’ve gotten so used to being invisable in the game that we dont know our own stars when we see them. Look New York City… as much as we love Jay and Nas and Busta and Diddy and LL and shit, we cant continue to depend on them to be the main reps from our great city of New York. I aint got no problem with them continuing to make hits and sell records and stuff… but we need some fresh blood up here. We cant expect Jay Z to be on top when he’s damn near 50 years old can we? LL is 40! Nas still pretty young but he gettin up there. Hell even 50 cent is gettin there. The point is that most of the rappers I named can rap until they no longer feel the need to rap. But they should only be a complement to the fresh sound of the city. And its here… we just need to promote it better and support it better. Maino is tryin to do big things and we need to take advantage of this. Mims came out last year with one of the biggest records of the year last year. Fab had a huge record. So the potential is still here, we just need to keep the ball moving. No matter what people might say New York stil started this hip hop shit, so we have a right to still shine in it. Theres still a lotta money here and the potential is here. We need to keep moving foward without forgetting about our past.

  11. Michael Partis Says:

Maino doin what everybody in the game trying to do: make that hit record to sell records. That’s what it’s about, period. That’s what even ya hardest rappers trying to do; most of them CANT do it. So Maino got his major deal with Atlantic, and he got some shit that’s gonna get burn on the radio. All these DVD & Mixtape rappers should take notes
