From my own personal situation, money is the only way forward in this world. I dont care what anyone says, if you dont think so, try struggling, try not having one penny, try being unemployed etc. and tell me that money aint important. The people that say mo money more problems are the ones WITH money. I dont know what my future holds but I know that money is the only way out money is the only way to have a good life. You cant be broke and having a good life. There may still be good THINGS in your life but it aint the same case.

first off money isnt everything but i think the best things in life are for free thats having family and good friends some of my best times have been when i was with family or friends broke as hell it def. makes life sweeter to be set financailly but that doesnt make life great ask kanye

But it depends what type of money you have. If you dead broke, meaning like you dont have a job, no hustle, …well yea life will be miserable. But if your somewhat living pay-check to paycheck, then your JUST gettin by. lifes not that bad cause your making it.

Like some of you said, having family and friends close by is always a blessing. They make your life whole on some important levels.

HOWEVER, indeed, being broke does not render life pleasant.

Even living paycheck to paycheck (i.e. ME), is not fun. It kind of shapes your frame of mind to believe that we are working to live. And I dont wanna be “that” individual.

I do NOT want to work just to live. Just to pay bills and that’s it.

And I CERTAINLY do NOT want the same for my daughter.

I’m not looking to be rich.

Just relatively wealthy. Just well. Dig it?

I want to be able to pay off my bills every month on time and still have a decent amount of money after paying all of my “obligations” .

No need for a ridiculous amount of cars, a mansion, etc.

Just a nice crib, one decent vehicule and a proper (and growing) savings account.

I don’t think people are necessarily “brainwashed” to get these material things but they just want to satisfy their “cravings” for the latest in fashion and technology. They’re exposed to this materialistic world it’s just that some people don’t have the right job or take the right approach towards these materialistic goals. Just my opinion.

Well, I do believe that plenty of people pursue that lifestyle just to fit in that materialistic culture. All I gotta say for that is just be yourself. People try to rush through their lives tryin to fit in and before you know it they’re already fillin out their will lol nah im playin’ but just do you and stay on your grind and all of that will come.

Well u can look at it as brainwashed but it’s not just that. People use materialistic things to determine a good life because of all the problems and struggles they have already. So achieving things lot that seems great to u cause it’s happinness from always being broke. Not being able to have shit. Can’t pay ya bills etc etc. And family and friends is good like someone mentioned. But even your lack of money and success can often get u looked down upon by family. The ones who usually enjoy the family and friend thing the most are the ones who have a certain bit of success because they can enjoy there time together and do alot of good things together
