Great interview. Wheres the whole thing. I think Nas gives a better interview when he’s given the opportunity to sit down and actually think about what he’s saying as oppose to he regular radio hot97 bullshit
Good interview and good response regarding the whole marketing aspect of the title. Hip Hop is self expression and reporting on the persepctives of a social enviroment. I think sad in this day and in age for an artist to be chatise for expressing his thoughts on it.
I agree with Ed, where is the rest of the interview. I love Nas, he is truly an artist of and for the people. Sure “untitled” did not sell millions, but its about quality versus quantity, lil wayne may have sold more, but nas album had more to offer, for the mind and soul. Much more substance. Thats why Tavis Smiley is interviewing Nas not lil wayne. Not that i’m putting wayne down, i like the dude, just making a point.
Thanks for the link, that was a damn good interview.
So good to hear from my peer Nas voice his opinion ( sly faux ) , and I love the fact that he recognizes John Lennon ” a man that took chances”, that shows he is way past the “colour-situation” and is seeing the human being that was trying to help the world situation.
NAS the LEGEND.
One Love.
Peace.
