She got played like NIVEA and Jive really.

i like her personality but i dont feel the music.

But on another note her 2nd single flatlined her career for them to go from make her feel good to no daddy was a terrible decision they should have come out w/ a ballad that focused on her vocals…even if that didnt pop like the 1st song it could have carried her to at least a 3rd single but anway its unfortunate things didnt work for her but Im going to buy an album b/c its hot not because I pity the artist

I respect what #12 is saying, however, SHE said he was a father figure we dont know if he told her that he would be her father figure. I doubt very seriously that he took on that role. She may have looked up to him that way but i dont think that they came to an agreement that yeah im going to be your father figure. I dont got Jay-Z even talking like that. im sure alot of his artis looked at him in that way.

1)FACT:RIHANNA WAS MORE MARKETABLE THAN TEAIRRA MARI ON BOTH A NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL.THEY COULD SELL RIHANNA TO BOTH BLACK AND WHITE KIDS,THEY COULD SELL RIHANNA TO BOTH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CORPORATIONS.THEY COULD NOT DO THE SAME WITH TEAIRRA MARI,PERIOD.

2)FACT:NOT ONLY WAS PON DE REPLAY A MUCH MUCH BIGGER RECORD THAN TEAIRRA MARIS FIRST SINGLE,BUT THE SUCCESS OF THE SONG IS WHAT WAS POSSIBLY THE KEY REASON WHY TEAIRRA MARI WAS LET GO.WHEN MTV ISN’T PLAYING YOUR DEBUT SONG,YOU KNOW YOU’RE NOT GOING TO LAST LONG.

3)FACT:RIHANNA CAN NOT SING,SHE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WITH HER VOICE THAT IS EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO BEING CONSIDERED ‘SINGING’ IN THE TRADITIONAL SENSE.SHE CAN NOT HIT THE HIGH NOTES,SHE CAN NOT SING FROM OCTAVE TO OCTAVE WITHOUT SOUNDING LIKE A BROKEN RECORD.LET ME PUT IT THIS WAY;PRODUCERS LOAD UP MELODYNE AND AUTOTUNE FOR MARIAH CAREY AFTER SHE HAS SUNG HER PARTS.WITH RIHANNA,PRODUCERS LOAD UP MELODYNE AND AUTOTUNE BEFORE SHE HAS SUNG HER PARTS.FIGURE IT OUT.

SO IN CONCLUSION;
-TEAIRRA MARI WAS DROPPED BECAUSE OF LABEL POLITICS.
-RIHANNA CAN NOT SING FOR SHIT.
