    Bea-u-ti-FULL!!!

  2. e Says:

Its not personal. If you dont make the company money than your know good to them. Once again, these people arent Hov friends they are in a business together. IF YOU GET FIRED FROM A JOB YOU NORMALLY DONT TALK TO PEOPLE AT THAT JOB AGAIN. YOU GO HOME TO YOUR REAL FRIENDS.

  3. j Says:

Yeah, there are no friends, but there’s gotta be some integrity. Dang. I feel bad for ole girl.

  4. ROD Says:

WHAT INTEGRITY. THEY DIDNT LIE TO HER. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT

  5. Brooklynzson Says:

    what “e” wrote

  6. C Says:

well there is obviously something about her that makes people remember her, she just needs to work with some up and coming artists independently on hooks

  7. D_Ross Says:

She has a great attitude!! Wouldnt surprise me @ all if she made a comeback similiar to the one ole girl made from Destiny’s Child.. Latoya I 4get her last name

  8. OFFICER ROSS REPORTING FOR DUTY Says:

AHH THE CORPORATE BEAST STRIKES AGAIN!

THEY DECIDED TO LET HER GO SIMPLY BECAUSE RIHANNA WAS MORE MARKETABLE AND HAD LESS OF A ‘GHETTO’ VIBE AROUND HER.BASICALLY,THEY COULD SELL RIHANNA TO THE WHITE GIRLS,THEY COULDN’T DO THE SAME WITH TEAIRRA.

KINDA SUCKS,CONSIDERING RIHANNA HAS AS MUCH TALENT AS LAST WEEKS SPINACH FILLED TURD

  9. Roxi2States Says:

Puh-Leeze! I read one of her interviews on another site, and she talks about the same ‘ol thing. Its a business hon! In the end you gotta look out for you. No one owes you anything so to blame Jay and Def Jam for your issues is beyond me. I am a DJ and her record was not all that impressive. “make her feel good,” was hot, but that was it. I respect her for getting it together, but she did a show here at a local club about a month ago and she just doesn’t have “it.” You can’t knock Rhianna bc she is where she is. Call it what you want but remember they tried to make Rhi a one hit wonder too. She just kept reinventing herself until she struck gold, and she did. Tmarie is a pretty girl, but what is she doing to set herself apart?

  10. iBomb Says:

I guest her music was older than her n her music was bein marketed young so thats were she got lost, also nobody stood by her, so its messed up, but she’ll prob stay around for sum time.

  11. RRaaaaaaaaUUUL. Says:

    That’s true.
Theres no such thing as true friends.
Dont ever expose yourself to someone unless their family.
Guys especially, they turn their back on their girls just cuz.
    we’re all players admit it.
eventhough we got the hottest chick we still gotta look at another girl walking down the street.
idk what the hell im talkin bout but yeahhh.
cocaine’s one hell of a drug.

  12. for real?? Says:

this interview makes me wanna support her next project… she ain’t blaming jay z… she’s just saying she was marketed poorly (grown @ss songs directed towards the young kids) it didn’t work. as far as everyone talking abt it’s business and you have no friends… true… but if someone wants to play a father figure in your life then they step out of that role, you as a young person are allowed to be hurt by it. she seemed to realize it after she sent him the birthday msg and when he didn’t say anything to her after she was dropped. jeezy ain’t fly out to console her but his few words meant something. that’s all.. famous or not we’re all human.

  13. yesserman1 Says:

maybe she needs to make more youtube videos to self market lol jay-z basiclly came up independent ..n the fact he took her to trl was enuff! quit compaining n make some good music!

  14. j Says:

    Co-sign For Real?? ^^^^

@ ROD, you may wanna read what For Real?? said …. slowly.

  15. OLA Says:

iight i look at it like this. the label kinda put rihanna and teairra mari against each other competition wise. they both had hit first singles (make em feel good) and (pon de replay). teairra even had more promotion than rihanna did being that she was signed to ROC and her boss of the ROC was also PRESIDENT of DEF JAM. rihanna was on def jam but i think was on a sink or swim basis. where things went wrong w/ her was the 2nd single. rihanna dropped (if its loving that u want) which wasnt really a hit it jus did iight while tearri dropped (no daddy or suttin like dat) which did AWFUL. i dont think it was her fault but hey wutchaa gonna do. i think at that point, they made a decision of who would have 2 leave and it was her. i kno they were both working on 2nd albums and riri dropped (SOS) which did iight but im sure as soon as riri dropped that (unfaithful) record which was her first big HIT, tearri mari had been given the pink slip. it suxx but i dont blame her, i blame the label.

  16. k Says:

    She’s a stand up girl!!
I’m in management and the hardest thing to do is release someone… whether they deserve it or not… the only time it’s easy is when they are real careless of you and the business.
I hope she gets another chance with a better opportunity! I really can’t say Rihanna is a better artist… her chips just fell better than TM’s did.

  18. County Of Kings Says:

she should be happy someone, anyone even knows who she is

why do people expect them to give away free money, thats what they want. promote me, spend money on me, and when my album flops, keep on spending money on me.
and as soon as a nigga says, ok the gravy train stops here u either start bringing in what u spend, or your out, niggas get madd and say u disloyal.
key words, business and profit. nothin else matters

  19. DeShawn Says:

She definitely got the looks to make it. Let’s face it the musicbusiness is very superficial especially when it comes to artists who are depending on writers and producers. But she needs to get some luck too. Where would Rihanna be today if she didn’t record “Umbrella”? That song wasn’t even meant for her. The song was written for Britney Spears she didn’t want the song and then they asked Mary J Blige and she also turned down the song. Rihanna became a superstar after that huge hit.

it’s not so much about being more talented. It has more to do with being at the right place at the right time. These artsits need to work with great prouducers and songwriters and hope to get that big hit that will take them to the next level

  20. 100# Says:

as irv gotti said…your first deal is to “get you hot” and make you a star….she obviousy has some star power now she gotta use it, allota talented artist dont get signed much less even got a album out, but it looks like she is going to college route, which she really doesnt have to do..

  21. Isiah Bradley Says:

    co-sign #11

I will certainly be looking out for her next project.
She handled that interview very mature, no need to point the finger…do the do.

  22. ReBeL Says:

#8 Funny you say that about Rihanna because they both came out at the same time, & everyone was sweating Mari. Well her one song flopped and so did her album. The attention was then put back onto Rih. So you can’t give that excuse. Rihanna makes better music than her point blank.

  23. Southern Queen Dee Says:

I feel bad for her, but she needs to let it go and move on. Remember: The best revenge is success. Show Def Jam–not Jay because I guarantee it was LA’s decision and Jay didn’t wanna do it so he had someone else do it for him–what they missed out on. Chick can sing, she just needs better songs/beats and one hell of a PR team. That’s the only reason Rihanna won over you, ma.

  24. Southern Queen Dee Says:

Wait a minute…I thought in her last two interviews she was getting ready for graduation not prom? I would think if it hurt that bad, she’d remember everything exactly. Oh well.

  25. OFFICER ROSS REPORTING FOR DUTY Says:

    IN RESPONSE TO REBEL:WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT CREATING AN ‘EXCUSE’?ALL I’M TYPING ARE FACTS,NONE OF THIS IS OPINIONATED;

1)FACT:RIHANNA WAS MORE MARKETABLE THAN TEAIRRA MARI ON BOTH A NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL.THEY COULD SELL RIHANNA TO BOTH BLACK AND WHITE KIDS,THEY COULD SELL RIHANNA TO BOTH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CORPORATIONS.THEY COULD NOT DO THE SAME WITH TEAIRRA MARI,PERIOD.

2)FACT:NOT ONLY WAS PON DE REPLAY A MUCH MUCH BIGGER RECORD THAN TEAIRRA MARIS FIRST SINGLE,BUT THE SUCCESS OF THE SONG IS WHAT WAS POSSIBLY THE KEY REASON WHY TEAIRRA MARI WAS LET GO.WHEN MTV ISN’T PLAYING YOUR DEBUT SONG,YOU KNOW YOU’RE NOT GOING TO LAST LONG.

3)FACT:RIHANNA CAN NOT SING,SHE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING WITH HER VOICE THAT IS EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO BEING CONSIDERED ‘SINGING’ IN THE TRADITIONAL SENSE.SHE CAN NOT HIT THE HIGH NOTES,SHE CAN NOT SING FROM OCTAVE TO OCTAVE WITHOUT SOUNDING LIKE A BROKEN RECORD.LET ME PUT IT THIS WAY;PRODUCERS LOAD UP MELODYNE AND AUTOTUNE FOR MARIAH CAREY AFTER SHE HAS SUNG HER PARTS.WITH RIHANNA,PRODUCERS LOAD UP MELODYNE AND AUTOTUNE BEFORE SHE HAS SUNG HER PARTS.FIGURE IT OUT.

    SO IN CONCLUSION;
-TEAIRRA MARI WAS DROPPED BECAUSE OF LABEL POLITICS.
-RIHANNA CAN NOT SING FOR SHIT.
-I AM LATE FOR MY TRAFFIC DUTY,ROOOSSSSSSSS.
