i love it! Eat that Jimmy S-Curl! These two are some beasts about the music and we all loved the black republican thing. This may be a better duet deal than tip and nellz. These two would murder anything else releasing that same week. Seriously. Jay + Nas = WIN!

Good performance but I liked the one they did together at The Apollo a lot better!

Rock the Bells crowd did seem too enthusiastic about seeing Jay either..?

the last of the real mc’s baby. and to people who would never get along with Jay in that Jay/Nas situation cause he dissed Nas’s BM, you gotta handle it like a player brother in this game of life. you got ya baby momma and you got wifey.

shine95 wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 11:58 am

I got to add, damn that’s the fans nowadays. not as hype. If I was to see Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane or KRS and Rakim performing a song together on stage, that shit would still be crazy the 4th, 5th, 6th time you see em on stage. lack of knowledge= lack of appreciation. can’t expect everyone to know what time it is.

Damn Jay-Z Done Steeped His Stage Game Up..
That Swag Was Strong..Nas Needs To Take Notes..

::smh::

Look at all the crabs in here.

The two are on stage performing together giving Hip-hop some ‘hip-hop’ to talk about and niggas are still concerned with trying to pit the two against each other. It seems you all feel more deeply about their situation than they do.

Why wouldn’t the crowd go crazy when Jay came out, Nas hasn’t done that anywhere else on the Rock the Bells tour and it’s New York. That’s a Hip-hoppers wet dream right there.

Willie Lynch-ass niggas.

plus we got fans that got egos, sell out fans that won’t be your fan the next album because your shit didn’t sell. Our culture got the most sell out, petty shit. must be the competition aspect of this game. it’s like fuck the yankees from some red sox fans. vice versa.

rap fans are too good to give props. fucked up ain’t it.

chrisbutta wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 2:59 pm

Tamika wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 3:03 pm

What song did they do? The audio on that clip is not good at all.

21.
Tamika wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 3:04 pm

What are the name of the songs Jay & Nas are doing? The audio is not that great.

22.
Tamika wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 3:08 pm

Sorry for the double posts folks.

23.
Tati wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 5:04 pm

24.
Bluecreme wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 5:06 pm

Superman - Hip Hop Fan wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 7:42 pm

@13, its not “fans nowadays”. Go to the right concert, a lil wayne concert for example, you got ppl screamin and chanting “weezy”

Its jut NaS, nigga is swagless

28.
Ed wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 8:20 pm

@nik So true.

Peace.

shine95 wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 11:27 pm

#27 it’s timeless not swagless. well see in a couple a years again. that’s why Nas and Jay been them dudes since like 94 and 96. swag is flava of the month buddie. timeless is forever classic. something to school you on youngin. take them jewels and putem in ya pocket. you could throw it away but it’s cool you got a smart youngin out there that’ll catch on what time it is and that’ll seperate the dumb youngins to the smart ones. that’s the new thing. the smart youngins vs. the dumb youngins. short term vs. longevity in the game…

30.
Superman - Hip Hop Fan wrote on August 4th, 2008 at 11:54 pm

29, stop trying to sound smart, average negro. Who you calling youngin?

NaS never had a swag. How do you think the phrase “NaS lost” came about? I’m not nocking his rap skills but nigga is SWAGLESS!. There’s a reason Jay is more succesful than NaS, its that extra “something”

that swag. They both got crazy rap skills.

31.
shine95 wrote on August 5th, 2008 at 12:33 am

I ain’t never talked about swag, I said dude is timeless. learn to read youngin. and I’m a end it at that.

32.
STILLMATIC wrote on August 5th, 2008 at 1:30 am

CO SIGN #30. JAY-Z KNOWS HOW TO DRESS AND PERFORM, BUT NAS DONT SEEM TO CARE, AND THAT’S HIS WEAK POINT.
JZ BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN HIMSELF, BUT NAS DONT.
