"I Put Fab Back On The Charts" – Jay-Z

I was talking to a Jay-Z/Fabolous fan about that line on the, “Put On Remix,” and they had a disgruntled look on their face. I guess Jay-Z can take credit for getting Fabolous on Def Jam, but should he also get credit for his album going gold? “From Somethin to Nothin,” first came out with, “Diamonds,” which didn’t do very good and then was followed by a street single, “Return of the Hustle.” But what got Fab on the charts was, “You Make Me Better,” which was the number one Rap song on Billboard for 14 weeks straight(some can argue Ne-Yo is Jay-Z’s boy), followed by the success of, “Baby Don’t Go.” Of course Jigga was on the Brooklyn track, but did that help sales? Well state your opinion on the line…

That line was pure bullshit. That nigga been on the charts. He just can not make him a complete album that would solidify him as one of the heavy hitters in the game such as TI. One of the reasons he left Warner, because TI was demanding more attention from the recording side of the company.

Jay z is responsible for anything good that happens around him or in his joint ventures as far as his fans see it!!!

With that premise they’ll say he did everything from ghostwrite to actually executive produce and what not while he was out on tour…lol!

Personally I thought Fab was givin the other dude credit for gettin him over on to def Jam, I’d think if jay brought him in he’d bring him into the Roc fold right!?
