Blue Print 3 Details Emerge

CIMG1605

-Kanye will indeed be producing most, if not all, of the album. Remember back in the day when an artist would do a whole album with one producer for cohesiveness? Think classic Snoop or Jeru with Primo… and fast forward it to 2008.

-Jay will be leaking the finished version of “Jockin” as soon as he adds a new 3rd verse to the song.

-Tracks to look for include the aforementioned “Jockin’ Jay-Z” and a new track entitled “Victory” that the rumor mill says is simply amazing.

kanye is my nigga but i feel bad that timbo kinda got slayed, he looked real excited to do the whole album.

but forget kanye producin the majority of it e needs to put a verse or two on that joint, we haven’t heard kanye on a jay-z album since point out the bounce on the blue print two

Young Trump wrote on August 10th, 2008 at 2:18 pm

Jay probably got mad at Timbo for blabbing about the album too early.

Of course this album will be fire but i’d still like to see some new Jay / Primo tracks.

Production

Timbaland has stated that he will produce the whole album. This was denied by Jay-Z himself saying that Timbaland will produce some songs, but other producers are included.

Kanye West will be producing the first song, titled “Jockin’ Jay-Z”, also known as “Dope Boy Fresh”. He will produce most of the tracks on the album, if not all. [5]

Just Blaze will produce a track. Another track will, reportedly, be produced by DJ Premier, who has produced many tracks for Jay-Z in the past, including D’Evils, which appeared on his debut album, Reasonable Doubt.

Well, since it is “The Blueprint” it’s only right to have Kanye on it, since he does all the soul sampling and etc. But I would like Timbaland to produce a whole album wit Jay one day.

Cool wrote on August 10th, 2008 at 3:48 pm

and p.s. that jockin jay-z track is getting way too overhyped

Personally, I wouldn’t want an entire album from Jay produced by Kanye. I do remember back when niguz used to do that and I do hate that niguz just get an album into the charts based on super producers & hype! (Ahem…Weezy? But I digress!) I think that shit would be a lil too much. I fuck with Kanye but if I want a whole Kanye produced album I’ll just listen to Kanye’s album. Maybe it should be a mixtape!

23.
MardiGraz wrote on August 10th, 2008 at 5:44 pm

Plus all Kanye means no Just Blaze and we can’t have that!

Eye Witness wrote on August 10th, 2008 at 6:02 pm

Actually Kanye AND NO ID are producing most if not all of BP3. They are a production team now and have been working since Hawaii.

Kanye and No ID has been working with each other on Jay’s album. I have seen them at all of the sessions since Hawaii.

Forget Timbaland and those club shaking beats! We WANT/NEED that “RAW”! Those gutter grimmey soul beats you can FEEL! So I say let Ye do that sh*t, would LOVE to see Primo(#1 producer of ALL TIME)the 90’s and beyond Marly Marl on there as well. Just Blaze, could get on there too, and I love Blaze, but I kind of think he has slipped A LOT, before ANYTHING he touched was FIYAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, now a days there ok.

27.
Alkada wrote on August 10th, 2008 at 6:36 pm

PS: Top Producers

Primo
Pete Rock
Marly
Extra P
Erick Sermon
Havoc
RZA
Buckwild
Diamond D
Alkameist and Kanye and Just Blaze are in the conversation aswell

Alkada wrote on August 10th, 2008 at 6:41 pm

PS. Lord Finess is nice on the Production tip
and them boys The Heat Makers at one point was KILLIN IT!

Clark Kent does his thing as well and the boy Ski from original flavor deserves mentioning, but it seems as if he stopped producing a while ago.

Yesssir i hope this shit shapes up to be a classic cuz bp2 was kinda watered down with tracks cuz it was a double album. American gangster to me felt like it could have been a blue print album.. but anyways this shit should be close to classic status!!!

Storm90057 wrote on August 17th, 2008 at 9:11 am

When i hear Jockin Jay-z .I hear a watered down A milli beat… Listen to it…

No hook like A milli
Repeated sample of words
Baseline almost the same..
only difference is the guitar to give it a rock feel to it..

I Love Jay z but im not feeling this one.. Kanye needs to come harder than that
