WHEEEEW, that one went to the heart!
I’m only 25 and I don’t get how kids only a few years younger than me are disconnected from this.
MAN, I remember when I used to live in Trenton and Poor Righteous Teachers was just blowing up. The kid Wise Intelligent used to date this girl Yolanda who lived next door to me(Ahhhhh, those row houses are still fresh in my mind…Shout out to Montgomery St) and we used get him to rap for us all the time..Little 6 and 7 year olds.
I promise I’ve been in love with music and especially Hip-Hop all my life. I remember seeing The Message video (the first I ever even knew or feel in love with music) and I wasn’t even 1 at the time.
