G-Unit Comes In Fourth With 102k Records Sold
Lil Wayne comes in #1 last week with 156k sold while G-Unit debuts with 102k sold to be 4th on the charts. I know less than 200k is not what people were expecting and some people are trying to blame Interscope for this. Wow, I like to read the comments but had to give my take on these embarrasing numbers. Why? 3 free mixtapes (ROB was ill, Elephant and Sincerely were subpar, Buck getting kicked out and all the internet promo for 96k? RIP G-Unit. I know I prob sound like a hater, but people aren’t engaged in the repetitive beef and shoot em up bang bang image and marketing ploys they been feeding the public. Yeah, the industry is in a slump, but their fanbase is dwindling terribly, and that bitch move 50 pulled releasing that tape attested to his character, he’s a snake dude. I used to like the Unit, but when u got 50 and garbage niggaz like Yayo disrespectin real emcees that have left a true mark on the game, they lost my respect. Now 50 will actually have to reinvent himself to win fans back , as I’m hearing rumors of Premo and Kool G, KRS-ONE on his next album. This dude got no other choice, try to get New York behind him, as no other relevant artists but the OG’s that are hurtin for $ will do a song with him. Either that or take a hiatus from the game Fif. Nevertheless, this is a true lesson in Karma for these faggots that have desecrated this thing of ours called hip-hop. G-Unit brought the closest thing to gangster rap to the East Coast and fractured NY hip hop. What’s so funny is even G-Unit stans aren’t buying the album. Damn these numbers are embarrassing!!!!

All in all, a solid album, minimal candy shit, but Fif must want of Interscope or somethin cos he’s puttin the best shit on the mixtapes and givin it away. Embarrasing numbers, his site gets over 1 million views per day he has more members on his site than those first week sales i think he is being sabotaged by interscope and is hardly getting no radio play but still the fans to blame they downloading these artists music. I didn’t want to see it go down like this, but I guess this means G-Unit is officially over. As a fan, this hurts. I guess all good things must come to an end. I guess all 50 has now is his business ventures and movies. And I guess Banks & Yayo are pretty much screwed. 50 suffers because he says exactly how he feels and he tells the truth even if it’s disrespectful. If 50 sees that you don’t do the same or if you have a shaky personality like Buck & Game then he’ll cut you loose because he doesn’t like being around that. They had to ship more than that… I mean i’m convinced that these stans just get on blogs and use multiple names cuz i feel like at least 1/2 mill said that they was gonna buy TOS… besides they ain’t even get hardly any digital sales and you all know most 50 fans are from the ‘burbs and they all got computers and iPods. co sign #24 g-money’…It best if 50 just went to Europe Africa South America or Asia where the people are more appreciate. In my opinion people from other countries apprciate 50 music unlike American. They don’t expect more then what you do there also not confused like American. One day they hate 50 and his music next day they like 50 and his music there so confused and unappreciative. So im my opinion if it possible 50 should just promote and release his albums in other countries instead of America.
