Nas’ Untitled Sells 187k Coming In #1

Nas’ album sold 187,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, becoming the rapper’s fifth No. 1 here. Nas’ prior album, 2006’s “Hip-Hop Is Dead,” also debuted at No. 1 but sold 354,000 over Christmas week.

Wasn’t sure how good the album would do with the videos not getting too much play on television but Nas has a fan base that makes sure to buy his latest work.

    Now he aint goin say hip hop is dead no more since the fans bought his album lol

    If ur music is of good quality, people will notice and sales will reflect that accordingly.

    Pleased for Nas he deserves it best album of 08 for me along with Third World
