Personally I mess wit BCC (the whole staff), Nas, David Banner, Lupe, Mos Def, Outkast (P.s. I fcks wit 3 stacks heavy), Redman (EPMD), Ice Cube, etc. I mess wit some street sh!t, some south sh!t, or whatever but I like to hear somethin I feel is authentic and unfortunately my favorite from the hood variety was No Limit back in the day and for whatever its worth that whole staff damn near got indicted so unlike most other crews they truly put in work! I’m more of an R&B dude now (like the past 10 yr) though cause most rappers jus come up with a 1,001 lies to sell an album where a lotta r&b dudes still ain’t afraid to speak on true feelings and issues important to them and the community at large!

I also fcks wit Pac, Rakim, Krs-BDP, Juice crew, Wu, etc.

Jay isn’t a bad rapper IMO Not the G.O.A.T. either; I jus happen to not buy what he’s sellin… it it what it is! All the stuff that makes you a commercial sucess doesn’t mean much to me. I could careless about how much money you got and maybe a lil more about sales but that still ain’t sh!t its about what you say and how that relates to my situation!Personally he’s only like top 5 outta bk.

I don’t think that “If you really Put me On, Put yourself On In” line was about Dame. I think it was for DeHaven. Think about it. He’s talking about what he did for/in Marcy/Brooklyn. Dame is from Harlem–he wouldn’t be relevant to the flow and purpose of the verse. Then right after that line, he talks about the work he put it in in the kitchen (cooking crack obviously). We all know Dehaven was talking all that shit about how he was doing all the work and he put Jay on in the dope game and with starting the ROC. Which would lead Hov to say what he said. If he got it like that, why he want Jay to take care of him. He should be able to take care of himself. Alright…I’m done analyzing Hov’s verse. With that being said, it wasn’t his best, but the shit was still hot! I think it should’ve been longer, though.

And for all the secret stans claiming to be tired of hearing Jay talk about the same stuff…”Oh you’re not feeling me? Fine, it cost you nothing. PAY ME NO MIND!”
