whoever just backed David Banner based on that clip must be retarded because the problem here clearly is that David Banner is on so low of an intellectual level that he does not even understand what it is that these people are saying which is why when he goes before Congress he really just makes a fool out of himself and every other rap artist-if u are uneducated and lack eloquence you have no place in speaking on intellectual issues or representing anybody-the last person I would want representing me is David Banner He sounds like a fuckin idiot and gets 0 respect

itallion stallion u a bitch too. at least he trying god dammit. what jordan doing?? what tiger doin?? he usin his exposure, or presence to try to get something across. he wanna help?? who cares if he cant speak “intellectually” like u want u bitch ass . a lotta people that have problems cant speak like u, cant talk like u, cant understand u, cant have shit like u. sorry the hood aint perfect motha fucka. low intellectual level??? who da fuck are u?? black people are killing each otha. kids relate to rappers, ball playas. not stuffy booshi ass big word motha fuckas like in that clip. was this response to stupid for you??? i know its not in the best format!!! sorry…..
DB took a L but he is not stupid. He just didnt get a chance to elaborate on his point or formulate a rebuttal for the rude bitch who just talked over him and the host. And hes far from stupid. Hes actually one of the few rappers who completed college and was also president of his class I heard. Google him before you hate. All in all he was wrong in regards to the bigger picture so you all are right on that.
He should have pointed out how rappers are doing the same thing BET does in regards to putting out music with the words bitches and hoes in it just like BET puts on Rap City, 106 and only plays the songs that has the same fuckin verbiage they have the nerve to ridicule. Now shows like the Boot which has a somewhat comedic approach but still depicts black men and women in a negative light are headlined on the same network. Or he could have pointed out how BET is running this special and making examples out of I love NY and Flavor of Love but their parent company Viacom owns MTV and VH1 which show those very shows. Shout out to DB, i would like to see the entire show but from what I saw he took a L.
rappes dont know how to defend hiphop i wish pac was still alive to school these niggers..

Pointing out that I love NY and Flavor of Love would have actually been the perfect example to highlight his theory on black people hate on each other first. BET has the nerve to put this special on but what have they done in regards to talking about these issues to their parent company (viacom) Im willing to bet whatever that they did nothing. They rather point at actual artist in hip hop and individual projects instead of pointing in a mirror or other major networks, and record labels.
Its like trying to fight the little nigga in the gang of cats that are trying to jump you or rob you instead of the biggest dude. Well where I grew up we are taught to knock the biggest nigga out first and the little niggas know they gonna catch a L or they might just bounce. So until BET shows me some results instead of this same lame game then fuck em.
And I respect #6 comment. Cant co-sign it all my dude but I feel you. Everyone aint articulate in the hood but the ones that are need to translate the msg that we all know and put in terms that people like #5 can understand.
I dont mind the things that david banner is saying because he’s speaking for the society of today without the use of a large vocabulary. The people who were basically saying he’s wrong are more or less people who listen to radio hip-hop or no hip-hop at all in order to come to the conclusion of him not knowing what he’s talking about.
I believe nowadays rappers have more control over children, the media, and society as a whole but refuse to lose money over the ideas of being positive. I dont think David Banner alone was the best choice seeing he has no one else to really communicate with. Adding another music artist more or less r&b would or could even things out seeing that these are dominant black genres of music. With these stereotypes and images, people are failing to realize that channels like BET are white owned but ran by a sprinkle of black people. They do not have complete control of what’s being played and only after Bob Johnson stepped down has it changed it whole image. Why is it that the show is called “Hip-Hop VS. America” still? Why is that BET has watered-down ideas from MTV for shows just now with an all black cast? Why is it that we as Black are quick to judge one another when we have a higher education and not doing anything else about it? Words can make a change but if you are only out to save yourself and not help others the way other races do, then you are only adding to the problem that you complain about.
Overall i think the show is a waste of money because all of those people speaking are important in their own field and may serve a purpose, but their only emphasizing the stereotypes they are trying to abolish really. David Banner seems to be the pawn their using only to grab a the attention of a younger audience because to them his opinion hardly matters.
i dont think david banner is on a low intellectual level
he had a whole nother agenda here, he has an ax to grind and a chip on his shoulder being a rapper. i hate that the rapper gotta be the angry black loud talking nigga.
if u had it on mute he looks like the uneducated one, and also the guilty one.
david banner doesnt speak for me, these niggas have a choice what they wanna put in they music, just like the bitches have a choice to shake they ass. those are the people who are responsible for the love loss
hiphop is the most influential music in the world, and kids are so impressionable. i would love to see all kinds of women all the time, dark, light, good girls, hoes, slim, thick, short, tall.
but instead niggas lack creativity
if ya videos and music mirror your life, then all those women should be in them. fake rappers
the number one media purveyor of black stereotypes and the dumbing down of black youth is giving us a history lesson on where all the bullshit came from and excuses as to why we’re still worshiping it. Excuse me if I don’t turn to BET for credible black history.
Props to them for giving these intelligent brothas and sistahs a platform…but what we really need to talk about is WHY IS IT THAT HIP HOP HAS COME TO REPRESENT THE BLACK COMMUNITY IN MAINSTREAM AMERICA? We have somehow managed to put our underbelly in the spotlight and this program is more of the same
I havent seen so many niggas with sense and perspective post on this site in a minute lol. BET need to get some of us on a show like that. Pull some strings RTNY
I think people are looking to blame hip hop for all or most of African Americans problems in society. If you really look at hip hop as a true art form it is beautiful. You can’t tell a painter to not use a certain color or a piano player to not use a certain key. I fell like you differently can’t tell a hip hop artist to censor everything they say. The art of hip hop wouldn’t exist if that was to happen. The media just need to balance what they perceive is bad hip hop and with good hip hop. A lot of these rapper really be saying some stuff that be mind blowing if you really catch what they sayin like Lupe, Bun B, killer mike, ice cube, nas, kanye, scarface, outkast, x-clan, dead prez, style p. The point im trying to make for you slow motherfuckers is that hiphop is still a fairly new aspect of music and already is the most listen to genre of music all over the world. Think about how powerful that for one sec. To censor rapper will take away they power to express what really going on in the world. Everything aint black and white people 4 real add some color to the issue ya dig
honestly u can talk all u want but at the end of the day do u like hip hop or u don’t nobody is forcing u 2 make that choice …
and if u don’t like hip hop don’t listen 2 it and if your somebody who likes hip hop but has problem with the lyrics about violence , women , sex , pimping , drug dealing , cars , money , jewellery , and etc. listen artist like common , mos def , Talib Kweli
people like al sharpton just wanna control people they wanna tell u what u should like or u shouldn’t … fyi we have freedom speech in this country so whats the point of censoring hip hop …
honestly there worser issues than rap music
i think this al sharpton guy does anything 2 give himself attention …
80% of Black people are so stupid. David banner was right about 1 thing. Black people jus hate themselves. Jus like we sold our people into slavery for prorfit, we continue to sell ourselves out. N*ggas knw exactly wat they do when they only rap about negativity, truth is nobody cares cus its all about the $$$. Black people need to be more responsible an stop putting the blame on everybody else.
* now lets see wat show gets more re-run spins on bet?? 100% sure this show will play about 2 this week vs.a dumb video wit the same sterotypical sh*t, will play about 7 times a day this week. Thanks Bob Johnson ex:(f*ck’n sellouts)
Individuals Do make a decision about what they do. They are responsible their actions. The Bible speaks about this, when we are judged by Him, we aren’t going to stand with our brother, sister, boss, coworks, relatives, teachers, grandmother/father, friends, mother/father, politicians, artist who influenced you, black people, white people, etc. We all have a conscience: we know right from wrong! You don’t have to teach a child to be selfish or lie, steal, lust, etc.
Yes there are things out there to tempt us to curse, degrade, fight, lie, steal, cheat, lust, etc, but we make the ultimate decision.
@ Recognize a Playa, truth, Pounce, TRONE, JCharades
I think David Banner is faaaar from ignorant and what he is saying has validity in the world around us.
But what I don’t agree with him doing like the many people on this board are doing is ‘pointing’ out this and ‘pointing’ out that….
when what people(including David Banner) need to do is keep is honest and admit to themselves/others and say yes there is negativity perpetuated about Black women and Black women and I am apart of it because it sells or because it is a ‘cool’ thing to do.
I mean look at the people on this board and how they respond to each other and women. The only time a woman seems to get any ‘positive’ response (I put positive in quotes b/c it’s usually responses filled with bitch and derogatory sexual advances) is when she is half-naked or naked. Then she is ‘wifey’ material.
In any other instance woman deemed useless and people are more interested in arguing about G-Unit and Lil Wayne. Admit it you do it and many of you are starting to believe the hype. And you do it because it is acceptable….whether it is right or wrong
We don’t own record companies to say what’s put on the radio or what America likes, but our greed and our lust for money, and power pushes us do things that are degrading and keep us in this downward spiral.
We are not pimps, ho, gangstas, drug dealers, and criminals.
We are black men and woment with extraordinary abiliites to so great things like be CEO, Doctors, lawyers, etc… but we as a people must stop taking the easy way out like glorifying the negativity in the “hood”
2 words Killer Mike…….THAT NIGGA WOULDA KILLED THAT PANEL. Check out his interview on mass appeal. Google “that’s Life” By Killer Mike!!!!! Cube…Mike and Dead Prez r the only spokes people Hip Hop Needs.
P.S. why Banner always Start with that coonery smile a
then go all Holy’er than Thou with Black Man Anger Tell that Country Negro to Chill!!! We Dont Believe U…..u need more people.
yea i dont like david banner acting like tha typical angry black man. and then he gonna blame bet for making him look foolish. na homie u did that yourself. instead of goin off on your own agenda why dont u debate the issue at hand and stop yelling like a child.
hiphop is always being looked down upon by those who dont understand it, becuz all they see is a big black man stomping and yelling and acting like he either needs a bottle or some handcuffs
niggas wanna ball till they fall, so if i can ball out by selling out my young women, not the video hoes, but the young girls who think thats all they have in this world to offer then so be it
This issue of hip hop’s violence, misogyny, & stereotypical & distorted portrayals just seems so redundant to me. I feel like yea BET can hold a panel & discuss the issue but will anything change?
With the freedom to entertain & freedom of expression comes responsibility. & these entertainers(rappers, singers, actors, models) need to at least be conscious & self-aware of how they’re advertising themselves & portraying themselves through their art. When you are in the public eye like that, you have an insurmountable amount of power to influence & convince the masses…
Kids learn by observation; they are like sponges & they absorb everything around them & their environment, that’s how they learn. It’s up to the parents to really inform their kids & teach their kids what is ‘just for entertainment’ & what’s not; what’s real & what’s not.
At the end of the day everyone is accountable for his or her own actions. & in life each & everyone of us are faced with choices & personal decisions; We can’t keep scape goating & can’t keep putting the blame on hip hop & the media for the problems going on within the Black community at large, as influential as the media may be. Not saying there aren’t some things that need to change as far as media is concerned because it is responsible for some of the negative steretypes & one-sided portrayals of African Americans. But, you have to make a personal choice & say I’m not gonna fulfill that stereotype…
Pounce is a very itelligent individual with a lot of perspective. This is refreshing, because what i’m used to seeing on this site are some of the most ignoran brainwashed coon bandits of our century trying to make valid points about bullshit. They defend the game in his niggery, 50 in his niggery one against the other neither with any richous cause. DB is an intelligent individual and hes educated unlike 50 or game. and he is stepping up because you know what ignorance is bliss. DB knows better and he feels guilty for the bullshit that he has out out in his time. He needs to rehearse like the great debaters and go hard next time he is invited to a panel. Due to his archetype he wasn’t getting the respect that he wanted on that panel. The “Professinal” black folks weren’t giving him a chance.
@ nik
when what people(including David Banner) need to do is keep is honest and admit to themselves/others and say yes there is negativity perpetuated about Black women and Black women and I am apart of it because it sells or because it is a ‘cool’ thing to do.
————————————————————
i bet u if david banner admitted to such things he would be criticized by those other panels saying you should stop makin that type of music. i bet u those panels wouldn’t wanna hear anything that came out this guy mouth. they would only stress the fact that banner and other rappers should stop doing that.
i wasn’t making excuses but what i saying is that if you don’t like music that got bitches and hoes said in it don’t listen 2 it nobody is being force 2 listen to it.
so what if u think that hip hop make women look bad there is playboy, movies , and etc. that make women look worser, those women in those videos chose to do that and those women aren’t degrading black women they are degrading themsleves.
Debates among our people about our issues is always a healthy thing but the problem I had with this was everyone was trying to talk over each other instead of listening to the point the other person was trying to make. On the 2nd part of this show they talk about Women not having a voice in hip hop anymore like its the male rap artists fault. If they really want to tackle the suject the bring some of the Record execs who make the decision of what music is put out and bring some of the DJ’s some radio stations on and ask them why they play what they play. As for David Banner, I think he is a good person to b on this show and I really dont feel like he took an L.
they got a second hour coming on tonight i think so if u give a fuck tune in at 8 i think.
them niggas need a mute button like on “around the horn” cuz they get loud sumtimes, then they get muted.
silence is an important part of a discussion
female rappers like lil mama are rare these days, but thats cuz most of the chicks i know just wanna drop it low, instead of opening they mouth to speak. fuck talkin when i can get paid to shake my ass, smh.
your voice is your most powerfull weapon
From Looking At This Ten Min Clip, It Does Seem Like David banner Took An L .But To Me He Defenitely Held His Own, And He Did Make a Couple Of Strong Points. In His Argument. Especially When He Said, “America Consumes Negativity” .Thats Real Talk, I Wish I Could Of Seen The Whole Thing Tho.
One thing that should have been brought up is that Hip Hop doesnt have a problem with women. America has a problem with women. Hip hop might be a little more vocal and outspoken in regards to how it feels about certain women. And rightfully so, we shouldnt sit back and act like all women deserve respect because they dont. The same goes for men. All men dont deserve respect. Respect is earned, and if im a rapper and the minute I meet you, your acting like a groupie then I will treat you as such. You only get one chance to make a first impression, believe that!
Just like the women in the clip was saying that DB makes a choice in regards to lyrics, so do the women who are doing the back of up dancing and praying they win video vixen (aka video hoe) of the year awards. DB and other artist face a harder choice in regards to financial repercussions because if he changes his lyrics then he can lose millions, a record deal with a major label, endorsements ect. The video girl doesnt get her $300 per day for the video shoot.
Hip hop never gets credit for creating a platform for some of these women who actually use videos as a stepping stone to do modeling or acting or write a fuckin tell all book like super dome lol. (On a brief tangent, they had the nerve to let that bitch on Oprah to promote her book but wont let Ice Cube on there because he was apart of NWA and did gangsta rap music? The nigga does family movies now!)
Anyway because women have little feminist groups with fancy acronyms then it becomes an issue when they dont get respect in a song. If men started a group that was for men similar to feminist then it would be labeled sexist, similar to if white people started an organization then it would be call racist. I dont have all the answers, i dont think anyone does. But they need to at least start asking the right questions so we dont waste our time going in the wrong direction.
Sorry that ended up longer than I anticipated… pause
@ Pounce…People are always using the excuse of all women aren’t good or virtuous, or whatever, that some women are ‘hoes’.
My point is OK ALREADY WE GOT IT…what about the women who aren’t hoes? And the platform is about Hip-Hop in particular not everything else, you have to have a starting point and for a lot of people…not just African-American Hip-hop play a large part in their day to day (culture)
So how they choose to represent themselves and the women in their videos does not just in the ‘hood’ or even in America, but travels WORLD WIDE, perpetuating the exact same stereotypes Blacks claim to dislike.
@TRONE
The response he would get is that FINALLY someone is telling the truth. If any rapper had the guts to say that it would make the world of difference most especially to these children (and grown men) out here who take that crap to heart and model themselves after it.
Imagine, all rappers come out and say most of what we say is not indicative of women, men,or people who live in the ‘hood’ but we use it for effect because you all buy it.
You can not possibly tell me that, that would not bring a change in the tide. Once the individuals with the influence accept responsibility for the part they play, it would then assist people to quit blaming the music and look at themselves and their lives.
That could foster a change in the music, allowing rappers to speak on a variety of topics instead of feeling ’stuck’ in only a few. But first, they need to accept their responsibility, b/c like it or not they have the ’sway’…good, bad, or indifferent, it is what it is
Rappers calling women bitches and hoes arent talking to ones that arent bitches and hoes. If you not a bitch or a hoe then listen to Lupe or Common lol.
No in all seriousness i understand your point and respect where your coming from but women need to not take it so personal. Rappers talk about bitch niggas and wankstas ect and most if not all guys dont take it personal. Women react to the word bitch the same way black people react to a white person saying nigger which is the wrong response because it just empowers the word and the person(s) using it.
The situation is as simple as this, instead of talking about it be about it. Nvm we cant were all way to busy to make anything right in the world. “Little Rant” Back to the point.
The way i see it. Every amaerican or lets say human being is born to survive. And thats what almost each and every america does, which i hate. Nobody looks out for each other anymore. People arent letting people know this and that isnt right. Its all about numero uno. “Yourself” No matter who gets hurt by what you do, your worried about that personal gain. We can break this off to many subjects. Lets say credit cards. Buying on credits has killed many americans the debt they get into is just to over whelming and they commit suicide.
Also there acting like hip hop was the start of this savageness. If we look back into history look at all the killing going on. Random cowboys robbing banks and riding through towns killing people. Whore houses on every corner near a bar or what have you. Americans are all about sex and money.
I DONT FEEL AS IF HIP HOP IS BAD, I ALSO DONT FEEL THAT EVERY MUSIC VIDEO IS PERVERS.
I DO THINK THAT ADULTS IN THIS WORLD NEED TO TAKE RESPONSABILITY FOR THE LYRICS THEY RIGHT, AND THE MESSAGE THEY SEND OUT.
FROM DAY ONE, MUSIC HAS BEEN A MESSAGE. LOOK BACK @ BOB MARLEY’S MUSIC, CLEAR MESSAGE, FROM WHAT HE HAS WENT TROUGH, SEEN, AND IS GOING THROUGH. NO BULL SHIT.
NOW A DAYS ALL PEOPLE CAN DO IS PUT UP A FRONT, MAKE LIFE SEEM SO MUCH BETTER IF YOU HAVE A LIL MONEY IN YOUR POCKET. I THINK THAT NO ONE IS REALLTY CONCERNED ABOUT THE YOUTH’S WELL BEING. SO, I THINK THAT IT IS “ROLE MODELS” PART RESPONSABILITY TO HELP OUT. WITHOUT FANS, WHO MAJORITY ARE YOUTH, WHO WOULD THEY BE? I MEAN WE CANT MAKE SHITY PARENTS GROW UP AND WIN BEST PARENT AWARD. WE ALSO CANT SUGAR COAT EVERYTHING WE DO, SAY, OR SEE. THATS WHERE RESPONSABLE ADULTS JUMP IN.
I LOOK AT T.V. AND EVEN THE CARTOONS POP UP WITH SEXUAL MANOR, CURSE WORDS, AND OUR KIDS ARE LEFT TO WATCH, OR SENT TO THE ROOM TO CHILL OUT AND WATCH T.V. UNATTENDED. THEY ARE ALSO ALLOWING MORE AND MORE CURSING ON REGULAR TELEVISION. SO, I DONT BELIEVE THAT IT IS HIP HOP IN GENERAL, I BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE WORLD ALL TOGETHER. NO BLACK AND WHITE! SO INSTEAD OF ARGUING, COMPLAINING, LETS WORK TOGETHER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

June 26th, 2008 at 1:03 am
rappes dont know how to defend hiphop i wish pac was still alive to school these niggers..
ppl have said this before ..theres so much worse than hiphop…eg rock and roll, horror movies….porn..theres more white porn statrs than theres rappers,
ppl always say hiphops bad but dnt quiet point out what wrong..whats the matter..is it the lirics? ..cuz theres no curse words allowed on tv..so whats wrong..is it the dancing.?.i dont c how harmful snappiung can be..is it the half naked women?.,…i c fully naked white women fucking every day on tv..every movie has a naked white women…hip hop only has half naked black women…so whats the fuckin problem.. leave hip hop alone its just music
June 26th, 2008 at 1:16 am
June 26th, 2008 at 1:18 am
My bad meant to say translate so people like #7 can understand not 5 but shit 5 need an interpreter to lol

June 26th, 2008 at 1:33 am
i dont think david banner is on a low intellectual level
he had a whole nother agenda here, he has an ax to grind and a chip on his shoulder being a rapper. i hate that the rapper gotta be the angry black loud talking nigga.
if u had it on mute he looks like the uneducated one, and also the guilty one.
david banner doesnt speak for me, these niggas have a choice what they wanna put in they music, just like the bitches have a choice to shake they ass. those are the people who are responsible for the love loss
hiphop is the most influential music in the world, and kids are so impressionable. i would love to see all kinds of women all the time, dark, light, good girls, hoes, slim, thick, short, tall.
but instead niggas lack creativity
if ya videos and music mirror your life, then all those women should be in them. fake rappers
June 26th, 2008 at 2:15 am
HEY EVERYONE, LOOK!
the number one media purveyor of black stereotypes and the dumbing down of black youth is giving us a history lesson on where all the bullshit came from and excuses as to why we’re still worshiping it.
We have somehow managed to put our underbelly in the spotlight and this program is more of the same
June 26th, 2008 at 2:40 am
I havent seen so many niggas with sense and perspective post on this site in a minute lol. BET need to get some of us on a show like that. Pull some strings RTNY
June 26th, 2008 at 3:15 am
June 26th, 2008 at 7:12 am
honestly u can talk all u want but at the end of the day do u like hip hop or u don’t nobody is forcing u 2 make that choice …
and if u don’t like hip hop don’t listen 2 it and if your somebody who likes hip hop but has problem with the lyrics about violence , women , sex , pimping , drug dealing , cars , money , jewellery , and etc. listen artist like common , mos def , Talib Kweli
people like al sharpton just wanna control people they wanna tell u what u should like or u shouldn’t … fyi we have freedom speech in this country so whats the point of censoring hip hop …
honestly there worser issues than rap music
i think this al sharpton guy does anything 2 give himself attention …
al sharpton is wanna be martin luther king

June 26th, 2008 at 7:41 am

June 26th, 2008 at 9:13 am
Yeah we don’t have plans to fly crack over.
June 26th, 2008 at 9:17 am
I meant to say…. “Black women and Black men”
June 26th, 2008 at 9:52 am
2 words Killer Mike…….THAT NIGGA WOULDA KILLED THAT PANEL. Check out his interview on mass appeal. Google “that’s Life” By Killer Mike!!!!! Cube…Mike and Dead Prez r the only spokes people Hip Hop Needs.
P.S. why Banner always Start with that coonery smile a
then go all Holy’er than Thou with Black Man Anger Tell that Country Negro to Chill!!! We Dont Believe U…..u need more people.
June 26th, 2008 at 10:56 am
yea i dont like david banner acting like tha typical angry black man. and then he gonna blame bet for making him look foolish. na homie u did that yourself. instead of goin off on your own agenda why dont u debate the issue at hand and stop yelling like a child.
hiphop is always being looked down upon by those who dont understand it, becuz all they see is a big black man stomping and yelling and acting like he either needs a bottle or some handcuffs
niggas wanna ball till they fall, so if i can ball out by selling out my young women, not the video hoes, but the young girls who think thats all they have in this world to offer then so be it
June 26th, 2008 at 11:03 am

June 26th, 2008 at 11:07 am

June 26th, 2008 at 11:17 am
Debates among our people about our issues is always a healthy thing but the problem I had with this was everyone was trying to talk over each other instead of listening to the point the other person was trying to make. On the 2nd part of this show they talk about Women not having a voice in hip hop anymore like its the male rap artists fault. If they really want to tackle the suject the bring some of the Record execs who make the decision of what music is put out and bring some of the DJ’s some radio stations on and ask them why they play what they play. As for David Banner, I think he is a good person to b on this show and I really dont feel like he took an L.
June 26th, 2008 at 11:46 am
the reason we have these arguments are because people are afraid of the truth. they dont want to here it cuz they cant take it.
June 26th, 2008 at 12:31 pm
they got a second hour coming on tonight i think so if u give a fuck tune in at 8 i think.
them niggas need a mute button like on “around the horn” cuz they get loud sumtimes, then they get muted.
silence is an important part of a discussion
female rappers like lil mama are rare these days, but thats cuz most of the chicks i know just wanna drop it low, instead of opening they mouth to speak. fuck talkin when i can get paid to shake my ass, smh.
your voice is your most powerfull weapon
June 26th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
From Looking At This Ten Min Clip, It Does Seem Like David banner Took An L .But To Me He Defenitely Held His Own, And He Did Make a Couple Of Strong Points. In His Argument. Especially When He Said, “America Consumes Negativity” .Thats Real Talk, I Wish I Could Of Seen The Whole Thing Tho.

June 26th, 2008 at 2:46 pm
June 26th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
@TRONE
But first, they need to accept their responsibility, b/c like it or not they have the ’sway’…good, bad, or indifferent, it is what it is
::leaves soapbox::
June 26th, 2008 at 11:27 pm
Rappers calling women bitches and hoes arent talking to ones that arent bitches and hoes. If you not a bitch or a hoe then listen to Lupe or Common lol.
No in all seriousness i understand your point and respect where your coming from but women need to not take it so personal. Rappers talk about bitch niggas and wankstas ect and most if not all guys dont take it personal. Women react to the word bitch the same way black people react to a white person saying nigger which is the wrong response because it just empowers the word and the person(s) using it.
June 27th, 2008 at 10:10 am

ALOT OF THINGS ARE PUT ON THE TELEVISION, AND NEVER EXPLAINED. YES, LYFE HAD A GOOD POINT, MAYBE PARENTS SHOULD SUPERVISE THERE CHILDREN A LITLLE BETTER, BUT HOW CAN WE SEE TO THAT? WE CANT.
JUST OUR WORLD FALLING DEEPER AND DEEPER INTO THE DEVILS TRAP, MADE TO LOOK FABULOUS.
SO INSTEAD OF ARGUING, COMPLAINING, LETS WORK TOGETHER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
