NBA Finals: The Celtics Have Won The Title & Smacked The Lakers In Game 6
This should be one of the more exciting NBA Finals compared to the last few years. Kobe seeks his first ring without Shaq, while Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, & Ray Allen play for their first ever NBA championship. Kobe went from rumors of leaving the team, to winning his first regular season MVP and reaching the finals. The Celtics management put together a monster squad with the three headed beast consisting of Ray Allen, Paul Pierce & Kevin Garnett. Anything less than the finals would of been a disappointment with that lineup in the East. Who do you think will take the throne as the 2008 NBA Champions?

That 2-3-2 format should be revisited because obviously playing at home has a huge affect on the game play of not only the away team the the home team as well. The Lakers played like straight trash last night. The only thing you could take away was that they made the end score more respectable by chipping away at a 24 point deficit.
I really dont think that Rondo, Powe, and Perkins will play this inspired in LA. Young players tend to fold under pressure away from home as witnessed by Jordan Farmar, Sasha V. and Luke Walton. Of course Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher, and Pau Gasol have no excuse because they are supposed to be the leaders of the team and if they play their best then the series is tied at the very least.
