Tha Carter 3 Expected To Sell Near a Millie
How huge will it be? Tha Carter III just came out Tuesday morning, so it’s difficult to tell from less than a day’s worth of sales, but an exec at Lil Wayne’s label estimates the disc will sell between 850,000 and 950,000 by the end of its first week. If their numbers are correct, that would be about double the opening figure for 2008’s current record-holder, Mariah Carey’s E=MC2, which opened with 443,000 copies.

Again, if Rick Ross can sell 500,000 copies in about 3-4 weeks, what makes you think Wayne Can’t sell twice as much.. Also, just food for thought, how many white girls do you think Lil Wayne is appealing too.. let alone the ” hip hop community. ” this was like a given that he would have a Millie tha first week.

50 cent album THe Massacre sold 1.2 million first week and that album sucked balls. i dont think he is gonna sell a million. the album was really a dissapointment. i thought that it was gonna be better. it not a classic and lyriclly he didnt do much. but you cant tell that to any of these middle and highschool kids, they lose there fuckin minds when you say weezy aint the best.
i asked a highschool kid the other day what was the oldest hip hop song they knew and this little nigga had the nerve to tell me master p “make um say uh” i almost flipped out, when i was 16 i was able to argue music in a legitament fashion these kids dont now shit about music. im only 22, im still in the young generation but this is fuckin sickning.

I was really open minded when i checked out this album, those 3 verses from them cats was the illest thing on hsi whole album..
waaay too many features to be your make or break, solo legend status album.. other tha all the hype it was just ..o.k.

Lil Wayne no clasic album, a few hits, saying he should be put in lists with 2 Pac, Nas and other legends saying his the best rapper alive but gets outshined on his own album. For all the taking this gremling does he shown no lyrical ability for all the talking he does and Carter 3 is hot garbage, Next but it will sell because bullshit sells

nothing can top the previous carters, those a classics. i think his head got to big.. honestly doesnt seem like he tried hard at all. the album is not garbage tho. a few songs yes but the majority of them are straight. and everyone probably thinks its even worse because theyve herd some of the songs already, thank those DJ’s hes workin with that leakd those songs. its not weezys fault and what was he supposed to do push the album back even further..

I cope the album like i said i would and the album is pretty decent. Not only that we all have are different opinion about the album. But non of are opinion matter except how many album sell lil wayne can sell in a week. And one way or another it still a classic one matter what fans say. And ya need to stop comparing album to each other just learn how to appreciate.
