for those who say plies music has no substance, are you guys mad that positive rappers aren’t hot. if hip hop is all about lyrics then why is there a beat. the same reason for this is the same reason why plies success is due to him. plies is right if you aint got hater you doin something wrong.

I do believe that he is. Wayne sold a million because he’s Wayne! and if u ask me.. Plies album had wayyy more substance than The Carter 3, all these people are just dick riders. Plus Wayne’s album was so anticipated why wouldnt it do a mil?

who the hell wants to listen to someone talk about absolutely nothing or what the next fool said in a different song, in a different way, with a similar but “different” beat?… come on man…… we need some real rap music, some real hip hop…

How can u listen to the above line that Plies had and say he does not have anything in his songs that are of substance. He paints clear pictures of what is going on in the hood and the mentality of the hood, whether he is a goon or not, does not have shit to do with what he says..He is speaking the truth..N at the end of the day he speaks all that goon stuff..but a song like “Worth Goin To Feds” is definitely a banger…If most peepz figured it was not worth it and put their creative minds to something else, jails would not be filled with blacks and hispanics.
