So Flex you mean to say that with the run Eminem was having,he couldn’t have ended ties with Dre and kept his momentum? Or that Kanye couldn’t maintain w/o ties to the ROC? I refuse to believe that! In my opinion 50 Cent and his know it all, cookie cutter methods are the reason his artists’ sophomore projects failed. Right now it barely works for him. Then in one breath 50 tells his artist to branch off and do them in another he’s saying “you need to stay close to me”. He doesn’t want artists who can stand alone, he wants dependents. And the premise that an artist can’t move away from a big rapper/CEO…Snoop is still moving 16 years later, Jim Jones is doing his thing…these artists just have to quit taking their 1st piece of success for granted, operate within their means, and grind double time if they wanna hold weight in this industry.

…I agree 1/4 with flex…loyalty is threaten when money is involved.
However, what’s stopping an established producer or artist from suppressing their underlings from blowing up by not giving props where props is due/ not passing that money around to those who deserve it.
Swag could only take you so far or a hit record could only take you so far. Both them shits need to be in place for niggas to be successful. And if your underlings are providing that wave for you to surf, then show niggas that proper respect.

There is no way 50 can call dude unloyal. In every battle they had, Buck always went the hardest and Banks was suppose to be the battle rapper but he remained the quietest
(or sent a sublime or 1 liner). Not every artists wants to play the toy soldier role like Banks & Yayo. Banks will never be considered KONY standing behind 50’s ballsack, NEVER be considered a top CONTENDER in Hip Hop, never be on TI OR WAYNE or JAY OR NAS STATUS as long as he plays the background.
Deep down the artist has to shine and branch out and make his brand just as big as the frontman.
