Why is everbody getting on Ice T dude was right about what he said towards soulja boy. But then again i don’t even look at soulja boy as an hiphop artist to where i would say that he killing hiphop. He’s is a rap artist and i look at him as a rap artist who make music just for the money and not for the love of it. And as far as his music go’s i wouldn’t say that his music is garbage i would say that it very catchy and entertaining which is probably good now and day. But as far as quality materials he has non what so ever and i really don’t look at him as a hiphop artist.
Hiphop is something more inspirational educational and real it suppose to send a message as it feed you knowledge. Rap music on the other hand doesn’t do that rap music is filled with nothing but entertainment. Don’t get me wrong im not saying that rap music is bad but it’s not inspirational nor educational or real. And that what soulja boys music expresses it nothing inspirational nor educational or real. I mean if soulja boy had to struggle to get where he at then why don’t he talk about that. I mean he shouldn’t try to defend hisself and get mad once he found out that he was diss by Ice T and then say how he work so hard. He should start off by proving hisself and rap about the struggle that he been through. Or just rap about different type beside crankin that hoe. Because at this point i don’t look at him as a rapper i look at him as a entertainer. I also wouldn’t say that he killing hiphop being that his music is not hiphop. There a few bad thing i could say about soulja boy and that is that he is not talented and he has know skills what so ever. And there nothing special about his music that he’s bring into rap. As far as hiphop he’s know where close to being a hiphop artist and probably never will be. And i wouldn’t say that Ice T is hatin on soulja boy being that dude is a legend in the game. But i would say that Ice T is disapointed how did we come from artist like Rakim’ Ice Cube’ and Big daddy kane’ to rappers like lil boosie soulja boy and hurricane chris. Soulja Boy doesn’t have to rap about his struggles to prove how hard it was for him growing up. He can pick any subject he wants and I’m sure he loves what he’s doing and not only for the money.
