Not cool with some people doing it? Lol you didn’t invent the instrument used so you really can’t say shit. Whatever is hot gets copied with the quickness, just like with clothing. But he has nothing to worry about because most of the people using it sound horrible.

Roger Troutman was not the originator of what T-pain does. Roger Troutman used the instrument known as the Talk box(with the tube going into your mouth). T-Pain uses Auto tune which just corrects the pitch of the Tune you’re singing(which is different from a Vocoder which is used by those Techno people). You can hear the Autotune used by Disney stars Like Raven Simone(for people who can’t really sing that well).
That being said T-Pain should get his props, cus he came in and got no respect for using it and then when he finally made it hot and respectable, now people wanna jump on the bandwagon, so yea he should have the right
