I want The Lakers to win and they have a good chance BUT unfortunately I think The Spurs will at the end of the day like so many times before be too strong. The Spurs in 6. I hope I’m wrong and that Kobe brings his A-game and puts on some great performances.

David Stern won’t be able to get a wink of sleep in the next couple of weeks, at the thought of a 2005 repeat with the Spurs and Pistons both making the finals. Lucky for him, I don’t see San An winning in LA, but I do see LA winning in San An. Lakers in 6. Book it. Pistons will probably beat Boston, but I kinda hope Boston wins, but either way, Lakers will be champions this year.

LA is a strong team. I’ve been waiting for this series since they got Gasol. Kobe is going to win one game just by being Kobe. This one could go 7, but I’m gonna say Spurs in 6.

No one INCLUDING David Stern wants to see a rematch of probably the two most boring teams (Spurs-Pistons)meet in the finals. And since the Celtics have not lived up to their utter dominance from the regular season one can only assume the Pistons will destroy them.

With that being said, I predict a few close calls going in the Lakers way and with Laker home court advantage I see Kobe really earning his MVP trophy with a 40 pt. 10 assist, game winning shot in game 7, should it even go THAT far.

Other than having home court advantage, the Lakers got every excuse to lose. Between his back, and finger Kobe’s not 100% and wont be until after the Olympic games. They’re not at full force without Bynum and the bench hasnt done anything since the first round. Right now I think its Spurs in 7.
