The Lakers Take A 3-1 Lead Over The Spurs
Kobe dropped 28 points as the Lakers took a 3-1 lead over the Spurs with a 93-91 victory in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Kobe is one win away from returning to the NBA finals without the help of future hall of famer Shaquille O’Neal. I think for Kobe’s legacy, it is important to show he can go to the finals and win it all while being the dominant player on the team.

Both conference series will be looked at as the dawning of a new era. The End of the Spurs “dynasty” and the reemergence of the Lakers as the pre-imminent favorites in the West. Luckily for the Spurs, they got a couple rings out of their amazing run as opposed to the Pistons who only managed one. While I think the Pistons will make the finals this year, their streak of getting to the Eastern Conference finals will be over next year, especially when Boston will make adjustments, Lebron will be Lebron, and the Magic is on the come-up.
As for last night’s game, the way I look at it is, yeah Barry was fouled at the end but the refs missed the call of Fisher’s ball hitting the rim which would have given the Lakers the ball anyway. So in this case: two wrongs did make a right. ANd you can’t expect the refs to make game ending calls like that. They showed they weren’t going to do that with Lebron so why would they do it with fucking Brent Barry ??

#20, even if they had called the foul, it would have been 2 foul shots, so that doesnt necessarily mean the lakers should have lost the game. also, the lakers should have had 2 foul shots themselves, because since fishers shot hit the rim, the lakers should have had a new 24 second clock, and the spurs would have been forced to foul kobe on his last shot attempt.
