NBA Set To Give Fines For Flopping
The league office has yet to determine exact fine amounts for offending flops and how fines might escalate for repeat offenders, but in-game arena observers and video reviewers will be instructed to report instances of theatrical flopping for potential punishment as part of postgame reports on officiating and other matters.

LOL… there’s a whole lot of things wrong with tha game…
NBA aint been tha same since MJ his last time.
how about adding to the list…
1) Review of Flagrant foul calls. It’s despicable. Nearly makes the game unwatchable, everytime someone is fouled hard they want to cry flagrant foul. Big men get hacked all tha time.. and they dont get those types of calls. So why should little men get calls like that.
2) Also how about shortening the first round back to 5 games. To me it’s retarded.. No one wants to see an 1 and 8th seed go 7 games every single year, it’s ridiculous. Save the best for last. Possibly the reason why teams like San Antonio and Boston are/was struggling because of that long overhaul in the first round.
3) I think they need to look into why refs call so many technicals just because a player is reacting to the call. With your adrenaline pumping how the hell can you hold back a reaction to their call. That’s bullshit. It’s one thing to Give the ref a Rodman headbutt or get in their face, but it’s awhole nother thing for a player to get a tech because he put his hands up in the air and brought them back down…

Thank God. i fucking hate floppers. thats the main reason why the Rockets got knocked of the playoffs cause that bitch ass Kirlinko from the Utah Jazz were flopping…Carl Landry from the Rockets got his teeth knocked out in game 3 and they didnt call a foul but they called a foul when the Utah Jazz players flop. Im so happy flopping is now a violation in the league. Ive been waiting for this for along time.
