Kobe… the greatest player of all time (if the media said so)

Imagine this Kobe goes to perrenial loser team and is made the man immediately. The team is somewhat turned over to him so whether you like it or not you have to “be nice” because the team and league are bankin on him so much. And they have enough talented “role players” he could focus on his numbers and still win games i.e. every one is a good defender so Kobe can roam, focus on gettin boards when needed, get steals and weak side blocks, etc

Matter of fact imagine this either Magic or Bird didn’t enter the league… all those stats basically get consolidated especially the awards because the only reason one didn’t get it was cause the other did (and the league was behind it all cause that was their cash cows, as jordan was in the next decade)

magic was never rookie of the year because bird was, but magic was the finals mvp… situations like that continued throughout their careers!

IMO Magic is greatest of my lifetime and for folks who think Jordans moves were so special you need to watch some hoops from the 70’s Elgin, Dr. J, and various other all did those moves damn near 20 yrs earlier… he was imitating them as Kobe and the “baby jordan’s” imitate him

2Cents, first of all comparing Magic to Jordan is stupid. It’s like comparing Jerry West to Kevin Garnett. They play two different positions. Now overall, who was better, that’s a no brainer.
