I will say that Lil Wayne is making it hard for all of us to believe The Carter 3 will be a classic; let alone be a muti platinum album. I havent heard one leaked song yet that doesnt sound like a song I’ve heard already. I think all of the better songs(classics) will not be leaked. And we’ll all have to buy the album to hear those. Because this has to be one of the most anticipated albums ever. He has to have something up his sleeves right? There has to be songs on this album that’ll convince everyone that he is who he says he is right? I think right now he’s just caught up in this vocoder/singing/T-pain bullshit. Considering the nigga had an entire album plus worth of material leak already on top of artist like Usher, 50 and Game dropping soon i dont care about pushing dates back. Thats what everyone does now.

Plus all albums get burned or at least heard before most people buy them nowadays. C3 will be no different. This song with t-pain will probably be on the album but some of the shit i heard over the last few days with tyga and shit is mixtape stuff.

i think he has it in him still. i think he always will. BUT when making this third album, he’s trying not UP what he’s done on hte mixtapes, but instead he’s going in the wrong direction.

BUT LOOK. those that really liked his mixtape shit will prolly download his album cuz we’re used to it. but the ones that might actually buy his shit are those that like songs like lollipop. maybe. i dont know exactly which age range still buys albums most… so i could be wrong.
