not at all. Jay IS better than Nas because Nas only slightly beats Jay in one category and thats lyrical content. Jay has more classic albums and has done more for Hip Hop than Nas.

By becoming the most successful hip hop artist and still putting out hot albums. Be foreal. nas is dope but when you look at the best you have to look at EVERYTHING and jay has it all. The business, the lyrics, the stage presence and everything else that it takes to be the best. nas doesnt have all that.

In my heart Jay is a strategic dude and he put together a commercially viable career but he ain’t do half the stuff he keep tellin you he did… for you…lol! Lost one… the blueprint… fa shizzo my nizzle…ex of “borrowing” But talent wise it wasn’t there… until he told you it was based on his initial album which is in question cause I still think he was rhyming bout other folks lives primarily!

Props to Nas, dude is a class act. Nas’s music album after album will be remembered for it’s lyrical content, these catchy lil songs will pass because in the end they have no meaning.. Illmatic and Stillmatic are 5 mic classics. I don’t understand why you have to pick Nas or Hov, both are legends in the game and I only hope we get another generation half as comparable in the future. I feel spoiled growing up with Pac, Big, Nas, watching Jay-z blow up comparing that to a lot of what comes out now…. no disrespect to Game. Niggaz kill me wit that whole NAS is played out bull-crap. 1st of all, his last album was released in 06 & debuted at #1 wit almost 400,000 units sold. It finished out at nearly 900,000 units in the US. Now, I don’t know about any of you, but that’s dam sure impressive for a 15 yr. vet. Its all just hate.
