Nas New Album No Longer Entitled, "Nigger"
A representative for Def Jam has confirmed to EW.com that hip-hop artist Nas has made an eleventh-hour decision to change the title of his new album from N—– to simply Nas.

Should have called it “REGGIN” or something like that. I think this is pretty weak. But the buzz is already there and now it maybe a bigger buzz that hes changing the name so at the end of the day hopfully the album is good.

since this album would b sold as mass media market its better that album name was changed it probably wasn’t his choice 2 change it 4 a album title nas is weak lol u could of used nigga 4 a title….this album gonna b dope no matter wat so far the 1st single was dope as fuck im 4 sure copping The N

Nas knew that at the end of the day this would happen but he used this as good promotion. Look at all the buzz that been going on know for at least 6 months. he has made everybody talk about his new controversial album title.

In my opinion, i think he bit off more than he can chew. I think the concept and topic was to complex to tackle and he could’nt attack the issue ittelectually and still have a dope album.With the title change he is leaving room to have those wack love songs about Kelis that he needs to fill up the album with.
