Isiah Thomas Bites The Dust
After all the determined talk in recent weeks about soldiering on, even as his nameplate was removed from the team president’s door, Thomas had to all but admit he was coaching his last game for the Knicks on Wednesday night. Not surprisingly, it was a 132-123 defeat to the Pacers, giving him a 23-59, Larry Brown-matching season before he faces his expected executioner, Donnie Walsh.
There was some hope going into this season with Eddy Curry & Zach Randolph healthy, along with the guards being Marbury, Crawford and Nate Robinson. But damn things went bad quickly and never changed. Is there any hope got the Knicks in the upcoming years?

NEW YORK NEEDES TO LEARN FROM A WINNER..One thing is clear.. Isiah ThOMAS knows what it takes to win..He has won on every level so far high school, college and twice as captain of the Detroit Pistons.. With the Pistons Detroit was the bottom of the barrel.. and He built it up..The palaace in aubrun hills is known as the House that Isiah built..with all that said.. New York did notappreciate Zeke enough…It got to the point where even sports writers that I like and thought were on th up and up..was doggin him…Zeke is a back to back champion and the only supoerstar to beat Bird(who taught Detroit how to win by kicking their azz..Mag Johnsonic and the Lakers…and of course Michael Jordan…(who the pistons taught how to win..and you see what they did..NEW YORK TRIED TO COPY CAT THE BAD BOYS AND FAILED MISERABLY…COULD NEVER BEAT CHICAGO…THE KNICKS NEVER HAD THAT HALL OF FAME BACK COURT LIKE TH PISTONS HAD..THEY HAD JOHN STARKS, MARK JACKSON CHARLIE WARD, GREG ANTHONY..HARPER WAS GOOD BUT NO ISIAH THOMAS-DUMARS AND VINNE JOHNSON…and no you have guys calling for the loser guards like anthony, jackson to coach and run the KNICKS??? New York needs to learn from winners…not wack azz guards..Isiah is my boy but even if he was not PROMOTING LOSERS OVER WINNERS DOES NOT MAKE YOU A CHAMPION…ISIAH IS A DUDE YOU NEVER LIKE UNLESS HE IS ON YOUR TEAM..NEW YORK SEEMS TO RATHER LOSE WITH AN INSIDER THAN WIN WITH AN OUTSIDER!!!..

HoF players generally dont make very coaches or GM’s. Larry Brid was close to the exception but he still lost in the finals to the Lakers when he coached. HoF players dont realize that they had talent and normally an extreme work ethic and that doesnt transcend to players now adays who are overpaid and overrated.
Knicks will get better cause its only one direction to move in. But if you have a F in a class and then get a C, save the fireworks. Meaning dont celebrate if they start making the playoffs in a year or two the goal is a championship.

amma say that yes isiah was not a good coach.but ppl gotta know that its the players that dident perform well.i mean ppl were so hyped when larry brown wanted to coach.and he was fresh of anba finals lost against the spurs the season ago,and looked what happend, knick 23-59 record.the fact is they need good free agent pick ups ala james posey for the perimiter defense, good draft picks, good trades etc.this summer has alot of free agents nad the draft is commin up so lets build there.like i said isiah isent a good coach but if u look when a sure hall of famer coach like larry brown commes and ur team goes 23-59 it now becomes the players fault and responsibility for the blame not isiah.i mean look at what happend in toronto.they started 1-15 in a season and ppl were willin to ship his ass out.and last season he was coach of the year.it just isent fair to fire him.BRING IN GUYS THAT ARE HUNGRY TO WIN,not guys that throw towels in there teamates face.
