The 100k is probably the front end money, he dont get paid until the back end. Remember doing a feature is similar to releasing an album. Lawyers, accounts, labels ect gotta get paid still. I dont think he seeing 100 off the top but of course he aint gonna say that.

This actually is not too far fetched. Busta and Luda both were/maybe still are charging about 100 for a feature. Matter of fact I remember Joe Budden making a comment about the label spending 100 for the Fire joint. Having these guys on a record definately ups the profile of the song so it ends up being money well spent. Ask Lloyd!

I can believe it, as of right now. He’s built up a string of hits & so goes his demand. I’m a show promoter and I know for a fact that Wayne charges 50k for a 1 hr performance. I bet at those prices, his features slow down alot. With the way of the record industry’s current state, it’s hard to recoupe. Alot of artists will have to go back to the basics.

I would think that 40 songs ft. Lil Wayne would be equivalent to one album (roughly same amount of work) at this point in his career i would think that the self-proclaimed best rapper alive could easaly make that amount all on his own and he should get paid for the work that he dose with other artists over prised or not sr8 up man
