Gilbert Arenas Uses Jeezy’s Words To Avoid Suicidal Thoughts
It was just me and my car … speeding — something that I shouldn’t be doing.
Then I got that thought that I know everybody gets once in a while, I was like, “You know, what if I just ran my car into this pole right here?”
I don’t know why I thought that, but I kept going with it.
“Then I can jump off the road into this lake and just swim … or drown. Whichever one comes first.”
It was really devastating. I was thinking, “Mannn, again?!”
But I listened to Young Jeezy’s verse in “They Know” to get me past those bad thoughts … plus, I’m sane. I’m a sane person, I wouldn’t do that to myself.

Look…Gilbert is not suicidal…I myself have said similar things in a “What if” situation. It doesnt mean that he wants to do it or that he will. Some people, when they are alone come up with some crazy shit to think about…It dont even have to be a situation where he is depressed just a thought pops into your head.Im just surprised he went public with something like that.

I remember I was gonnna jump off my roof then I heard somebody playin flavor in ya ear and I just couldn’t do it! Bwaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha! LMFAO! Nah I think everybody has thoughts like this though. I think it’s just part of being human. People are very aware of their mortality and their control over it. Sometimes you realize that you could end it all. Nothing to do with being insane.
