I never thought I’d see the day when R.Kelly is tryna be like T-Pain. I remember when this guy used to make great music. Now he just puts out bullshit.

kels needs to sing for the girls again. Music has changed, people dont wanna hear rap music anymore, its going right back to how the eighties was when music was actually music. Hiphop was a phase and now people want real music.

long live the rebirth of rnb and fuck hiphop. Theres a new phase its called the phase of real music.

r U serious… how would have rap exploded in the 80-’s if people didn’t want it? Hip Hop is a 30 year (and still goin )phase?

R&B never died, jus hit life support like hip hop has and FOR GOD’S SAKE SEEK OUT THE REAL MUSIC YOU WANT AND FORCE THE RADIO TO PLAY IT!

Power to the people who use it!

WTF are you talking about? Who told you the 80s was real music and not now? and hiphop is not a phase? You’re crazy. People always complain about the current state of music/fashion..etc. It was the same thing in the 80s. People said bring back “real music” you know from the 70s..etc. Rebirth of R&B? WTF? R&B is doing just fine.

R.Kelly is the most successful R&B artist of the 1990s and if you have followed his career then you would now that he has always been inspired by hiphop music. Even though he’s an R&B/soul artist just like Maty J Blige hiphop is part of his music.

I don’t see anything wrong with R.Kelly doing a “t-pain” track. He likes to try something different once in awhile. The track sux though but that’s another story.

I’m a big fan of Kelly but I wish he would go back and do what he does best and that’s soulmusic. His beautiful and sad songs about love, god and relationships (ie When a womans fed up), and when he does his gospelsongs (ie The worlds greatest). I also like when he brings in that ol chicago stepping music. R. Kelly is very diverse and has his own style but these last couple of years he’s been doing nothing but very average R&B/hiphop songs. And the lyrics are weak. He’s 40+ talking about always being in the club doing this and that. I understand he tries to reach the young audience but C’mon now you, you’re a legend and has many loyal fans you can do way better than this? Go back to your roots and put out some great songs.

i said hip hop was a phase and now its outa style, people want real music, people aint goanna spend there money if they think the artist isnt really talented, just look at rnb sales vs. established rappers sales. Country music sales vs. hiphop sales, pop and rock sales vs. hiphop sales,

hiphop literally has like 4 rappers who can really move records, 4 rap artists aint enough to support a whole rap industry…

Hiphop isnt dead…hiphop is outa style. Music was quality in the late eighties like how whitney houston would really “sang” her music…songs like “i wanna dance with somebody,” jodeci’s many hits, tlc’s many hits…melody, fun, artistry, not just some one dimensional guy from newyork talking bout he the shit. People wanna feel good when they hear music, or atleast sing along.

“Hiphop isnt dead, it just went outa style” might make some t shirts for them shits, girls and rnb supporters will buy them shits.

Real music is back

When is he gonna face the music for that situation!? I’m not one to support the legal system like that and hand over a black person so he needs to be pee’d on by elderly women daily for every day between the time of the offense and the day of the 1st elderly piss session! Then he needs his hands busted open wit a bat for layin his hands on her in the 1st!

FOR GOD’S SAKE SEEK OUT THE REAL MUSIC YOU WANT AND FORCE THE RADIO TO PLAY IT!

The statements you’re makin are real general! You need to seperate whats forced down your throat via the media to whats actully out there!

I’m out…

Pear wrote on April 6th, 2008 at 7:22 am

TLC and Jodeci’s hit songs was from the 90s not 80s.

Anyway..You think music was quality in the late 80s because you remember the biggest hit songs from that time. Songs that have become timeless over the years. There were just as much garbage back then. A lot of the music from the late 80s was far from great, but way too many People always think the music was better before because it’s the biggest songs of every era that people remember, regardless of how much crap that used to be played on the radio. There are a lot of quality music out there right now. There are songs that are being played today that 10-15 years from now will be considered “classic timeless” songs.

BTW..whether you like it or not Hiphop is actually real music.
