‘Cause the way I see it, even though it’z 2008; many people (different races) been using “N” wordz (nigger/nigga) for many, many DECADES/GENERATIONS now… and it is NOT GOING TO CHANGE (imo), PERIOD.

Even back in the 70’s (30+ years ago), WHITE and BLACK people were using the “N” wordz freely (way BEFORE it was even used as much as it is todays MUSIC), as a sort of entertainment freely (’cause those wordz are a part of damn life).

Now don’t get me twisted, I’m totally aware that it can be used in a very negative (rasism) and/or positive (just slang) way.

But my point is this though, the fact of the matter is this… the word nigger was used in a public manner by a WHITEMAN (actor Chevy Chase) and a BLACKMAN (comedian Richard Pryor) on national television network (NBC) before (back in 1975)…

and the majority of the public, completely UNDERSTOOD that it was all for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY (nothin’ more – nothin’ less). And this skit/show stills comes television today. Many today know of this by the name “SNL” but back then, it went by the name “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE”

Now that show is strickl for entertaiment only (just like todays muisc). It just depends on how individuals (ALL RACES) comprehends it and/or state of mind.

That’s very true,here in Africa they use the word as more like a fashion they think they are cool when they use it cause they hear it on these rap records and stuff but nobody cares about the word.

In Europe the usage of the word among blacks is even less,most blacks in Europe are from Africa,In Europe the word is used more by whites to offend blacks and most blacks don’t even get offended anymore cause they see it as just a word and it don’t relate to them much.

Iv’e been to Africa and Nigga is used among younger people though. Not as much and only when speaking among other young people. So YES, nigga is used in africa. The difference is even if nigga is used as a slang word people typically use it seldomly after high school. Also regardless of the words these same people there that may have used it are always respectful and positive down there, end up going to college here, ect. No where as much hate and negativity like most black people have for their own people here in the US. A lot of people in some African countries listen to American Hip Hop.

The thing I notice is that in Africa even when the youngins listen to street hip hop and follow some american culture they still have fun and keep it hundred positive in school and with everyone else. They understand the music is entertainment and aren’t influenced by it. Here people take these songs like law are influenced by some of the ignorant shit a few rappers say.
