The song is average and I’m not a fan of Fergie. I think it’s going to be a hit though because the song is catchy and both Nelly and Fergie are popular artists.

He went 9x platinum because hiphop was hotter back then and he had some really good songs and no “downloads”.

He doesn’t need Fergie to make a song but it’s a smart move to work with Fergie. Let’s wait and see how well his album will do before saying he fell off.

the only reason Nelly sold so much in the early 2000s was because thats when “southern rap” was really taking off, there were places where people didn’t actually hear music like “country grammar” or “right thurr” and they enjoyed it. they was feelin all the snapping and dancing but now people are tired of hearing the same thing. Nelly wasn’t a dope ass lyricist to begin with. C’mon, the songs that made him had lyrics like

Well this track is definetly different from what we usually see him do, I thought it was kool tho. This aint nuffin I would bump in my ride but I can see people dancing to this in the club. I commend and Respect Nelly for doing him. He has always made music that doesn’t sound like nobody else shit. His first album did 9 mil cause at the time it was New, Catchy, and HOt. Ya’ll need 2 quit hating.

No effort what so ever on this track, All they did was rap 8 bar verses and then screw the same verses and connect them to the regular 8 to make a 16 bar verse….This is not creative at all, Dude needs to step his game up or something because all of the songs i’ve heard from he lately all sound the same.
