Who can sell a album nowadays? With the power of the internet and illegal downloading, Gold is the new platinum and even that is hard to do now. If you look at the stats in 08, the number 1 album for each week did the minimum of 140k. That was unheard of back in the day where people were doing 400 and better. Where guys like Nelly were going Diamond and 50 doing 7 mil easy. I get tired of this “Will he sell records” shit because who the fuck can? It took Jay a minute for American Gangster to go platinum so what the fuck do you think Crooked can really do? Use your head, hustle simmons.
