Come on people. Fifty is a bluff,Alica grew up in Hell’s Kitchen in harlem,it don’t get more hood than that. She is and loves hip hop as well as R&B and Soul. She feels as I also feel that the executives of the record compaines exploit it to make money and the government wants it to be negative because it’s mostly blacks making this music and it’s providing a good living for them and their kids are into it so they want to tare it down. I’ve always thought of it as reality rap because of the realness of the music, the grit of it. Fifty is just made because he wants her. He’s tried to date her and she wasn’t hearing it. Yayo and Banks wasn’t feeling him on that. GROW UP 50!

shes against what they decided to CALL IT
shes not against the artist craft
who coined the term gangsta rap? dunno, when it was the flavor of the week and had “people” scared they called it that shit on the news but you also had rappers calling it that.
the interviewer also needs to shut her damn mouth, alicia has nothing to do with him and she probably doesnt know a damn thing about any of what she was studying to begin with. The interviewer took her words out of context, she didnt say GANGSTA RAP DIDNT EXIST. She’s talking about the name, not the craft.

50 shouldve told the interviewer hes not gonna comment on what he hasnt read because alicia didnt go against gangsta rap, she actually said she liked it. DUMB. So now the media is gonna ask fellow “gangster” rappers these questions to get all of us fighting with one another again.
