Any1 want tickets to the Jay-Z and MJB Heart of the City tour for wed April 16 for $95 for row K3 and N3 (same seats are around $300 at http://www.ticketmaster.com) email mas331@yahoo.com
yeah man, i was there that night, row2 middle section….great concert, worth every money i spent…..the Dream did his thing, Bleek did his, then Jay brought BunB and the crowd just went nuts….Mary was amazing and Jay-z was pure greatness….this is the real best of both worlds!!!
Like Pops Williams Says… “Yeah Boy”!!!
It was a live show. Only song he didnt do was Say Hello.
And i love my city…but houston is WACK when it comes to jay-z fans…the crowd did not even know how to act when songs like -Marcy, or Feelin it or other songs from Vol. 1 or resonable doubt came on. The crowd was acting like they never even heard the new joint with Mary… Check his catalog houston jay been poppin for a min…they were acting like vol. 2 was his first album or something. very dissapointed in the crowd…
P.S. Bun killed it and loved the pocket full of stones tribute…
“What yall know about them texas boys?”
Man its Houston lol. Its like goin’ to New York expecting people from NY to know all of UGK’s songs. Hov should be lucky anyone knows any of his songs at all in Houston. When UGK did Big Pimpin’ with Hov that right there is what made Hov relevant to us in the south. SO any ish he made prior to that is probably gonna get unnoticed. I’m a Hov fan and own all of his albums but at the same time I don’t expect everyone in Texas to be the same way.
@ 12
yea i understand very well what you mean by that
but the thing is this a concert naw mean a concert is when someone performs some of thier crowd fravorite songs
you would think fans would show up to that why go to
a nigga concert that you hardly fuck wit like that
waste of money..that why was like that shit crazy
you would exspect a crowd full of fans to know
catelog naw mean i’m from chicago and i know face
whole shit back to back where from don’t qualify if you
a fan or not the idea is fan not region
but still shout to houston if they do go back
and check the kid out hopefully the’ll like what they hear
it’ll be new to them so aint nothing wrong with that
Hov put on a great show in the H Town RIP Pimp C. UGK & Hov 1 of the greatest collabos of all time with Big Pimpin.
From those clips I think that was the most hyped up crowd I have seen on this tour so far. Hov has so many tracks he has something for everybody. Alot of people mite turn up to see the RD days or people will turn up to see the Vol 2 days and so on.

Music is music my friends. And the only genre of music that has this division amond cities is hip hop. What happened to just enjoyin the music. It must just be a deep south thing, cuz when I go to places like North Carolina they be playin Roc Boys and all that NY music. Ya’ll need to grow up. Big Pimpin beneifited both UGK nad Jay. Maybe moreso for Jay but you can’t tell me that it didn’t help UGK at all. Cuz Jay was already reching a level of hip hop royalty at the time, and UGK gettin on that record did them some good. According to Bun, he still makin money off of Big Pimpin. Pimp C didn’t wanna do the record and all but I bet he glad he took the offer to do it. Yeah I noticed that the crowd didn’t know what to think of the songs Jay was playin. But they should do a favor and learn Reasonable Doubt. Despite what Houston or the south might think, Reasonable Doubt wasn’t just a NY classic, it was a hip hop classic. Ask Bun B about it, he’ll probaly tell you.
sad to say this but im gonna say it anyways. jayz an awesome performer and everything.i saw him in miami and would pay to go see him again, But its sad to see how ppl get hyped up when they see an artist but if it were bout GOD you wouldnt see the same reaction. i say that to the point where i feel guilty but yea. we live in a backward society thats not gonna be around for long.
