Amazing speech. I believe every American should watch this speech and begin dialogue amongst each other of the splinter of racism that is still stuck in our minds. Even if Barack does not win the nomination or election, I believe he will become a poster boy for multicultrualism and hope across the world. I’m bout to cop my Barack T-shirts now while they still cheap! Move over CHe!
U need to watch this entire joint before you comment. This dude – this speech – the content – what he stands for, and so on – is impressive. Real talk.
I THINK IF THIS MAN DOES NOT BECOME PRESIDENT, WHATEVA HOPE WE HAVE OF CREATING A MORE RACE-BLIND GENERATION WILL NOT BE REALIZED FOR AT LEAST DECADES.
I loved this speech and am so glad he didn’t throw his pastor under the bus. I mean I am a college educated upper middle class living black guy who have friends of every race who have made crazy remarks on politics, race, gender, sex etc. (myself included) and i wouldn’t ditch them cause 2 :30 sound clips of his pastor should not define 20 years of knowing him. That is gangsta!!!!!!
He’ll most likely beat Clinton but at the end of the day it is going to be more difficult to beat McCain to become the President of the USA. A lot of democrats who vote for Hilary will be voting for McCain if Obama wins the Democrat nomination.
REALTALK, I KNOW THIS IS A HIP HOP BLOG, BUT COULD U PLEASE PUT THIS POST AS THE FIRST ON THE WEBSITE FOR ALL OF TODAY AT LEAST. THIS IS A DISCUSSION EVERYONE IN AMERICA SHOULD BE HAVING.
I was completlety moved. I hope the intellect, passion and ultimate depth of this message reaches the parts of America where too few see the need for change in how we treat one another as “Americans.”
hope is power……….these word that he speaks is hiphop in my eye he ain’t spittin game he ain’t spittin truth he spittin a strong inspirational and educational and a motivational message that we all should understand and respect becuz this is a message that reaches out to all of us……every second and every minute of his words were worth it…..his speech was off the chain.
