I think that because bow wow has been in the industry since he was a kid, he’s trying to shed that ‘kiddie’, ‘good boy’ image so that people will take him seriously as a rapper and as a grown man too. He feels like he needs to over-compensate to prove his toughness and his manliness. But what he fails to realize is that saying the word ‘Nigga’ after every other word in every sentence and in every song, getting tattoos, cursing, talking about strippers and hoes, and braggin about his money and his cars does not equal respect nor does it mean that he’s a MAN and he just tries to overcompensate to prove that he’s a man especially since he’s like 3ft tall and all.
