I feel him on this…he’s right though and I hope rappers do take this in and challenge themselves to picture these types of societies. The thing is I would think more rappers would try to talk and influence a different way because they had to live this sort of lifestyle but most of em are too busy (even if they’re rich and successful now) about how they got bricks in the hood and all that. but big ups to obama for saying this

I think the future president nailed hip hop right on the head. He mentioned how powerful positive music can be, yet admitted some of it can be negative — to certain people.

funny thing is america is going through a recession and it will get worst… so the new president will take the blame… u say u like obmama or hillary now, yall go hate em in 2012, but in truth the problem stems from the bush administration.
obama has a way of making us calm down and listen, he makes us feel like theres no pressure…but he definately breaks it down real nice about how hiphop is the kids cnn and so on, if he cant save the economy he can definately inspire and thats all we need in life to incur change,
