Racial Violence In LA Continues, Latest Victim 6 Years Old
A 6-year-old black boy was critically wounded Tuesday when he was shot in the head by suspected Latino gang members as the victim’s family drove through the Harbor Gateway neighborhood on their way to an auto auction, Los Angeles Police Chief William J. Bratton said. Two Latino males flashed gang signs before opening fire on the red GMC Yukon with six people inside, including a woman who is eight months pregnant, Bratton said. The rear window of the SUV was shattered by the gunfire, and one of the rounds hit the boy in the head, he said.
Damn sad to see innocent people falling victim to gang violence, especially a child. This kind of racism is just as bad as when black people use to be lynched.

I don’t hate any race but i do hate racism/ignorance period.
Articles like this do nothing but stir us up to get mad at somebody because it is always read by the same people (non-intellectuals).
Articles like this do the same thing that the news has been doing since the early 80’s which is scare eachother of a certain group of people. This has obviously been done mostly to black people and has given them a bad look in society because of the way media portrays them.
The story needs to be that gang violence is horrible and we are destroying ourselves as human beings.
I dont hold anything against any group of people based on what some have done.

LA is a war zone lately man. I don’t if yall heard about it but a 17yr boy who went to my old HS LA High got shot by some mexican dudes on sunday. Crazy thing is it happend on the block where my boy lives no bullshit. I seen the little dude a couple times. Plays football, got mvp of the team, was suppose to be going to standford. Some real Ricky from boys in the hood shit.
Local barbershop niggas use to give lil dude free hair cuts and the hood niggas use to keep a eye for him and not let him bang. His moms in Iraq “serving the country” while her son in the hood gettin popped. Shit is gettin crazy out here for real. Sorry nvrmind or #13, I have lived in Los Angeles County all my life and although some of the comments maybe a bit off, they are far from being rhetoric or something hyped by the news. The fact is that Mexican or Mexican American people have a big problem with African Americans in Los Angeles. That media was also hyping it as gang violence previously, and I’m glad to see it’s accurately reported as a Mexican gang terrorizing the African American people in that neighborhood. This has gone on for sometime. I remember back in the 90’s in that same area an African American family being fire bombed and nigger sprayed on there home by Mexican people. Not to mention the Florencia St Gang in South Central Los Angeles is supposed to be doing some racial cleansing also, but they have one problem that the African American gang or the (East Coast Crips) will not take that in that area. They blast back. It’s not just a gang terrorizing innocent families and kids like it the Harbor Gateway or Torrance as I know it. Don’t get me wrong, I have some very close and dear Mexican friends. My wife is Mexican and she agrees there is a problem out here. There is definitely a problem that Mexican people have with African American people. Some say it spills over from prison conflicts in California. However, I’ve traveled all over the country and it seems to be a problem only in Southern California. Everywhere from NY to CA the African Americans and Latinos seem to have a bond that they know we are in the same boat or situation. My brown brothers you need to wake up.

In closing, before you start praising how good this country is recognize why. Ok…Ive been reading some of these posts. Quit a few of yall are like “Mexicans are racist against blacks”. That is the farthest from the truth. Because I am Mexican & Im from San Antonio TX. The Blacks & Mexicans down here get along just fine. The same goes for Dallas & Houston. We all ride together, go to the clubs togteher, sip lean, smoke weed, everything.
I spent a yr in Lynwood Cali back in 06′. And, I can tell you from first hand experience, That is a SO-CAL thing. I hate LA. There is definately racial tension up there. It was news to me, because being where Im from, We dont have that. But it’s not just blacks they target. I got jumped by 6 or 7 mexicans who asked “where you from”. I told them I dont bang & that im from TX. That didnt matter because I still got it.
So I guess what Im trying to say is that its the mexicans from over there (SO CAL) who are racist. Not us. And I think its horrible whats going on down there. I will never step foot in that shit hole ever again. But I love Northern Cali. Definately way less racist up there…
