LeBron James on the Cover of Vogue Magazine
Lebron is one of three men to ever appear on the cover of Vogue Magazine. He shares the cover with Gisele (tom brady’s girl) for the April edition. Congrats to LeBron but i’m not feeling his pose or his outfit considering the magazine is Vogue not Sports Illustrated. The slight hate could be because I bleed purple and gold! Shout out to 2cents!

When I first heard that he was going to be on the cover with Giselle I was expecting something artistic or classy. Like my man Lebron in a nice suit and Giselle standing next to him or something. Just something fly. Then I come on this site and see Lebron looking like an Ape. I think that’s what they were going for. They probably had someone Photoshop his face to give him more Apelike features. Its funny, as soon as I saw the pic, it instantly reminded me of the movie King Kong. I wonder what Lebron thinks about the picture.

True Nike wants its products shown but they could’ve done it in a much better way. The cover is still tasteless because of the whole “king kong kidnappes scared innocent little white white look” that Vogue seem to think was a good thing to do.

BIG PICTURE…NIKE, LEBRON, and VOGUE. They all got together and thought about how to make you guys all talk and start some controversy and subconsciously most of you are falling into their plans. At the end of the day its about how much money the big 3 mentioned above will make. So I would have to say their plan is paying off so far. Sales of teh magazine will prove this theory. Like someone said earlier WAKE UP! We are in a recession and teh smart people are trying to get payed.

I heard the controversy over this picture…….i’m an african american and if anybody has ever watched basketball up closely the athletes make faces like that after the dunk or make a nice shot……..people want to say that the picture is racist i don’t see how it is. It was just all in fun and I don’t really think lebron took it that way. People portray the pic to look like king kong and if you see it that way that’s your opinion but try to look on the positive side……
Also they look like who thy are….she’s a model and he’s a basketball superstar……

I am glad to see that black folk can see through the sterotypes and subliminal messages (i.e. King Kong and dumb white girl). However, too many black male atheles prefer to marry white women. So maybe art is imitating life.
