Damn Haters Start At An Early Age
There was one arrest at the latest Soulja Boy concert at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. A 12 year-old boy was taken into custody Wednesday night for throwing a rock through the windshield of Soulja Boy’s bus. Why? The kid told arresting officers, “I hate Soulja Boy.” Bloomington police used a supervisor and five officers on overtime to provide security for the hip hop concert.
Hate is such a strong word, especially for a stranger.

Man I’m 17 years old and I’m a senior in high school. People at my school aint feelin Soulja Boy that much no more. Yeah the songs might be catchy and and that. But it’s time for some substance to come back to the game. I may not be an 80’s baby but I do know that today hip hop just aint that good. Some of you might be sayin turn off the radio and all. Yeah you might have a point, but I do know that there was a time when the good music would get played on the radio and the mediocre stuff would get played as a complement to the real music. It’s like a diet. You need to balance properly. Aint nuthin wrong with chips and cake and fast food and all that, but that should only be the complient to your diet. It should mainly consist of your veggies, grains, and all that. Today we just listening to the fast food. We aint gettin the grains. The fast food might taste better, but it will kill you if you over indulge in it. Back in the day I realized that the good music was being played the most and that’s the way it should be. The real artists like Ludacris, Jay Z, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Nas, Talib Kweli, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Common should be more relevent than the Soulja Boys, and You Jocs and shit. It aint hatin it’s just bein real.
