I’ve been very critical of Weezy in the past, but there’s really no way this doesn’t blow up. It’ll easily be his biggest hit to date and it’s all based on the hook. Sh1t is catchy as hell. The beat combined with the hook make it possible for Wayne to get away with spitting not even a whole verse and ad-libbing the rest of the song. What some of y’all fail to realize is that hip hop is just as much about the party tracks as it is about the introspective tracks or the street anthems. There’s a place for a song like that and it’s in the club. For what it’s meant to be, it’s a great track, cause this will have everybody dancing in the club.
